Jack's 321 fertilizer

I see lots of people referencing Jack’s 321 nuts. But looking on Amazon I don’t see anything with that name with the 321 in it. Can someone explain this? Maybe put pics of the nuts they call 321? Thanks a bunch. I have been using nuts from different company’s and know that is probably not the best thing to do.

With the addition on plain Epsom Salt from any store it forms the 321 system
Unscented Epsom or pure Magnesium Sulfate USP.

There are a bunch of Jacks products. The ones in the 321 category are the 15-0-0 and 5-12-26 products.

Don’t forget unscented Epsom salt for sulfur and magnesium.

My last grow I left the Epsom off for the entire grow. Did just fine.
Myfriendis410 runs a 4-2 system of 4 grams part A and 2 grams part B with good results.
Part A is 30% Epsom anyway so it get magnesium without additional Epsom.

321 refers to the feeding schedule. 3g, 2g, 1g. Normal is/was 3.6A/2.4B/1.2 epsom.

Pics above tho are parts A (5-12-26) and B (cal-nit).

I run the 4/2 too as well, and throw in Fox Farms dry boosters come flower. Haven’t had an issue yet.

I have tried 3 other lines before Jacks.
GH, NFTGs, and Mega Crop.
This is by far easier and more forgiving. I can mix one formula all the way through.
I am finishing up a grow right now of 4 different strains. In week 8 of flowering, 10 weeks since flip. Not any issues. 3 of the plants show no yellowing even at the bottom of the main stalk. One is yellowing, but its Acapulco Gold and that’s where the gold comes from. Its no doubt ready for the chop.
Now add to this, I don’t water to runoff, don’t flush ever, hardly prune much other than about half the lower leaves and stems so the humidity stays low and the plant needs less water. Also in Coco Coir. I tried dirt for 2 years and its just to much trouble. I can deal with watering every day, but I don’t want to chase problems. I harvest a little over a pound dry each cycle from a 3x4 tent. Not the best grower here by far, but I do alright.
Beginning of flower and current buds.

Do you reduce your feed since you do not water to runoff? Amazed there is no issue bc, the golden rule of coco…water to good runoff. I think some autopot guys have issues as well bc of no runoff, no way to expell tbe salt. I water a slob that drinks 2 1/2 gallons daily with good runoff to keep my tds from rising…just curious…

Nope, I feed em every day the same full amount.

@Spiney_norman Have you ever watered to runoff to check on occasion? If so what was your ec if you dont mind.

My ec will rise fast without the runoff. This one drinks 2.5 gal to keep in check.

How do you measure grams? Do you weigh it all then mix? Or regular measuring spoons?

Small dope scale :green_heart::metal:t2::wink:

I checked the PPMs on a previous grow when I was not watering daily. I was getting leaf burn along the edges. I have a pic of what it looked like.

I watered to runoff and it checked at just over 1800ppm. So I watered with plain water and did some research. That’s when I found that by not watering coco daily it will increase the salt content. Now I water every day.
I don’t weigh the product. I use a slightly rounded 1/2 teaspoon of part A and the same amount of part B in each gallon. Once flowering starts and the stretch is done I reduce the part B to a level 1/2 teaspoon. Like I said before I am not the best grower here. I am only trying to keep enough product for my wifes edibles. I occasionally take a hit from the pipe, but one hit is about all I need. I am a true lightweight. So I don’t chase extra grams from the harvest. I just take whatever it gives.

Ok, @StonedCold13 you weigh it on a dope scale? Dump a little on the scale at a time until you get to the amount you want and then somehow scrape it off of there into a 1 gallon jug of water? I think maybe I will just stick to the liquid nuts if that’s how you do it.

If you want accuracy by weight then this is the easy way…
Place an empty pill bottle on the scale and zero the scale.

Add the powdered nutes into the bottle until you get the desired weight.
Mark the pill bottle at the level of the powder. Or better yet, cut the bottle at the line.
Now you have a custom measuring holder for your powder.
I mix 5 gallon batches this way.
