2 mils of the citrus per gallon for foliar?
Those 2 plants are og kush. The one that is the worst doesn’t smell very much. The other one is stinky
Showing a need for a bit of S. See that corking, then green. That’s how you’ll know.
Back to the foliar. No. That is for doing a soil drench in late flowering as K demand increase. You’d put 2 ml into a Qt with a surficant to coat leafd
Ok I will make a note of it.
I guess I could do Sag citrus when I water as well?
They are in need of the foliar for uptake speed. If not deficient and later in flowering, the soil drench 2 ml would be the booster dose for a K dose.
Just giving back an update. The sag citrus 2 ml g in water did good for the gelato, a little for the kush…
I gave one kush sag and the other Neptunes and it looks like Neptune did better.
I have possible nutrient lock out on the one I used sag on.
How often should you use it, if problem persist? The corking hasn’t gone away yet…not sure how to give them more sulphur.
Thanks as always
Damage doesn’t get better, it just stops progressing. The leaves and corky stems will remain that way. Looks like it’s time to do 15 ml (1 tbs) gal drench on that one with persistent Mn issue.
Ok, the tips of some leaves are burnt on that one. Does it matter?
Yup that’s Mn. Perfect example actually. Saved. Gonna use this pic in the future. I don’t like to chase just single leaves. I judge by the whole plant and location on the plant. Some burnt tips doesn’t really amount to much overall.
Are you upping the K intake with Potash? You need K to make use of the Mn.
Glad I could help with that picture. I didn’t know I had to give k
What would you use?
I have that Neptunes. That has 1 percent soluble Potash. Will that work? It has alot of nitrogen. I’m sure you know.
I finally was able to order some of that buildabloom!
My buds were pretty light last time.
The gelato is bouncin back big time.
I realized that that last foliar I did had no surfactant.
So I did it again and the 2 kush are pushing along.
Potassium Sulfate. BaS sells 0-0-50 (instant/water in)
You got the BaB that has some.
Langbenite is 0-0-22 (moderate/top dress)
These all contain Sulfate. I missed that above, ”How add S”
You can use the Neptunes again, but reduce the input and add Gypsum. Mn works in synergy with K & Fe that you foliar. K gets stimulated by N. It usually avoided in flowering, so it can become limited in soil and reduce availability of K uptake. You said it improved the Kush before.
Ok!
I just got the buildabloom in and it looks like it has what I need at the moment.
Good to go? And how much would you use?
-Hey how do you know if you have nutrient lock out besides burnt tips on fingers?
I’m thinking about transplanting to 7 g containers they’re about at midway point of flower and could probably use some more space down there and nutrients.
Thank you again, I appreciate all the help you have given me.
1 tsp/gal is directions, but this far into flowering it woulda typically been upped to 1.5 tsp. Tip burn is not a sign of nutrient lockout. It could be nitrogen or another nutrient excess or from enzymes caused bioavailability. No transplanting. Worthless endeavor at this point. They don’t put down any more roots after Wk5 begins; instead, they concentrate on building buds
Ok, will do! Thanks!
I forgot, you just added that Neptunes fish. That’s where the tip burns came from. Excess N
Yep …what about this. It started right around Neptune feeding.
Not sure if that matters.
The first 3 are og kush this one has had every nutrient supplement I can think of ![]()
Now this.
Other pic is the green crack. Looking healthy
Last is gilletto. This girl bounced back.
I just watered tonight nothing added. Maybe some bokashi?
Just did the BaB? It has Ca, but needs time to work. Deficiencies take more time to see change in organics. That’s Ca spots showing up. Water only per usual, and do the weekly BaB with 1 tsp Epson. Less is more with organics, and you can’t push them like with salts. If it keeps progressing then 1-2 Tbsp gypsum top dress on a water day. Can add Bokashi top dress on a water only day.
Ok cool, it was looking bad but now it seems to be recovering, takes a while like you said
Im just beginning to accept that.
Everything else is doing good
thanks to you.
Just got some new seeds in from fast buds. Ready to start those in some buildabloom 3.0 like you suggested way back.
Is it true that soil, as long as you feed correctly, will last until harvest? No deficiences? It’s very hard to believe.
It’s a balanced mix. Should hold up pretty well with a couple top dresses and BaB. Would have to account for what macros they consume, but the micros should hold you through a solid grow. Then re-amend with compost, minerals, and a balanced 4-4-4 premix, for 2nd.
