I have a 4" 176 CFM fan with a carbon filter, blowing out the back of the tent, is that okay, or should I get another fan?

@Loverboytony, yes that should be ok

Cool thanks so much! I’ll keep everyone up to date on my grow

Just put up my new lights! Moved everything around a bit, cleaned up the wiring. What do you guys think? I know my humidity is low, but that’s because I took out my humidifier after stepping on it and spilling it =P I’m gonna give it an hr and check on my temps. Let me know what you guys think!

Looks great! Nice job!

The only thing I might suggest is having your fresh air intake at the bottom so you get good circulation going. I’m assuming on the right is the fresh air intake. It looks like what is coming in might be getting sucked right back out since it’s in line with the filter. Does your tent have passive vents at the bottom? Or even a duct hole? You can also move that carbon filter and duct right up the ceiling.

Just a couple suggestions but it really looks great!

Thanks! And no it does not =\ it has a small one for the plugs, and then both sides open up toward the bottom… what if I bought like a 90* corner duct and aim it down? Would that work/ be better? Something like this

That with some silver flex duct just running down to the floor would work :-). Cool air comes in low, warms, rises, and then sucked out the top.

Okay sounds good, I’ll take a trip to ace and grab those things right now! Thanks again for Everything! You’ve been such a tremendous help!

You did it man. I only pointed out a small thing I would do differently. But, you’re welcome.

And if you lower your intake, you can then move the carbon filter over in front of where it’s leaving the tent and remove a few feet of duct. Less duct the better on the exhaust.

An example of what I mean. I have about 5" of duct, just enough to get it thru the duct hole to the outside.

Connected to a silencer on the outide to reduce wind noise and give my head something to slam into everyday.

Okay. I gotcha. I gotta switch sides that some of the stuff is on, but that’s fine… I’ve been keeping my eyes on my tent for a few hrs now, my temps staying steady at 75, and my humidity at 63%

Yeah, looks good for sure man.

Do you know of any sheets/logs to keep track of your grow? My SK1 and SS1 literally just sprouted!

I use a program called Grow Buddy. You can google it if you want.

I just use a dry erase board or I’ve used postit notes as you can see and just write it down on a piece of paper if you want, whatever suits you better. Good luck I hope this helps

Yeah, that’s what I’ve been doing I had a little journal, I kept outside the room, just wanted to see if there was anything easier

Oh ok, awesome thing about.my grow room, is I never turn the lights on, I should have seen blackout curtains common, but a black trash bags over the window to keep the cold.out and to help hide my grow light when it starts to get dark, so I can stay in here all day long an not disturb them. Their day is from about 0530 to 2330. So I can be in here the whole time and when I’m in bed so are they, they usually beat me in the mornings because I like my sleep

Nice man. I’m doing it in my spare bedroom, I bought the blackout curtains, but because of the leds in my tent, I don’t turn the lights on at all in the room either. I’m on a 18/6 auto schedule (everything’s hooked up to timers). Lights on from 8am-2am, I’m a bartender so I like to check on them when I get home before we both go to sleep ha
