Do you think it will be alright if i move my light to the other support beam so its perpendicular to the inline fan, i feel like the fan is getting in the way of the light being centered. Gonna start my seed tonight!

Pretty sure you can do whatever you want. Just give the light a spot where it can move up as far as possible. Centered is good but a couple inches wont make a difference.

I love AC infinitys stuff. That Ionboard is sexy light! I think ac infinity is gonna bump spider farmer and Marshydro off the “budget” setup map. HLG will likely be just fine in the best lights slot but who knows, maybe Ion boards will give quantum boards a run for their money. I love the simulated sunset and sunrise option too.

From what i see around AC does have a good reputation and i figured the tent was a good start beside seed and soil so im excited to learn.
But if I end up not completely failing I would like to maybe get a 3 x 3 and get a few plants going. Do you have any recommendations for a 3x3 light for 3 plants? I wanna stay with LED. Still trying to learn about lighting but its quite daunting right now.
Do i need more fancy ones to be able to mess with the blues and red or is that an automatic thing?

Im using a MH fc3000 for my 3x3 but when I get a chance I intend to get a different one, id like HLG but I doubt Ill be able to get myself to spend that kinda dough. Ill put my fc3000 in my 2.3x2.3 it will just fit.
I think your light does the reds and blues for you. I dunno much about any fancier lights. @dbrn32 is the best person on the boards to ask about lights, a fountain of light knowledge.
Go 4x4 and get a second ionboard, put em both in the same tent.

Thanks for the reply. Ill look into those. I’m not totally against 4x4, i just dont wanna over do it. Lol Just plan on growing for personal use so far. But I can definitely see the hobby side of it.

Me too, 3 autos in 5 gals in my 3x3 is max. Or 4 in 3.5gal. I finally grew enough to get through to the next harvest. Unfortunatly, I made hash outta a single plant and it molded cuz I didnt dry it well enough…14 grams hash in da trash! Gonna have to go to the dispo before the next harvest…makes me sad.

Aww man I’m sorry to hear that. Thats so unfortunate. But that does sound perfect though, grow enough to support me and maybe share with some friends snd family

Wow! Just checked her and this is after 3 hours from the first picture. Is it getting close to being able to drop it in soil? Seems like it at least doubled in length! Omg my purple punch auto seed.

You could drop it in soil now. Some people just put seeds in wet soil and let the rest come with time
