My leaves are curling up and drying out

So I’m about 7 weeks into my auto flower grow and one of my plants is looking burnt. I grow in FF of soil and I haven’t given any nutes. The leaves are rolling up and the ends and they are getting dry. Can anyone help me?

Looks like phosphorus, calcium, deficiency and possible nutrient burn from something else.
What are your temperatures?

You need to feed them as FFOF alone doesn’t have enough in there to finish well. As @Covertgrower stated I’m also seeing phosphorus issue and possibly calcium deficiency as well.
Do you have any nutrients available to feed them?
Have you brewed any compost teas?

Yes. I have all the FF nutes available. Last time I did a grow I thought I burnt them by using the nutes so I felt like I was doing it wrong. I did give them some cal-mag about 3 feedings ago.

What should I give them and how much?

Cal-mag should be incorporated into the schedule throughout the grow.
Have you been following fox farms schedule?

No not with my autos. The last time I did it without autos I thought I was burning them or doing it wrong. I asked and someone told me the fox farm ocean Forrest should get me to flowering without giving any nutes but now I’m in flowering what should I give them and how much would you recommend?

I would suggest doing a flush on the plant/s showing those deficiencies and then mix up some of the cal Mag, big bloom and tiger bloom and water them after the flush. Consider using 3/4 strength amounts or more of each from what the label shows. I could be wrong as I don’t use bottled nutrients only organic. I do have and have used big bloom as it is organic. Tiger bloom and grow big aren’t organic not sure about the Cal Mag.
Check the run off PH and PPM as you flush to see where those are at.

It’s only one side. In the 3rd and 4th picture is my other plant ans it’s good besides a few leaves on the top. It’s not curling or getting brittle. :woman_shrugging:t3:

So question about the flush, do you just give them a shower with just water? I see some people use stuff with the flush. Just want to be sure before I do it😁

Thank you so much for the help. I’m really trying to educate myself and get good at this so I can always have medication for my Crohn’s disease. :pray:t3:

When I flush I take the plant to my utility sink and set it on a milk crate and use RO water and use a gallon and while it drains out will collect some and test it. Depending on where the readings are I will run another gallon through and then check that run off etc.
You can use a bath tub etc etc.

Off topic but in my opinion a more important topic…Chrohn’s
I had Pancolitis (Ulcerative Colitis affecting my entire colon) and was house bound for 3 years. Gave the doctors 1 1/2 years to try and fix me…they failed so I fired them and fixed myself. No remission… I am cured. Cannabis was part of my healing but also eliminating all the toxic crap in my life (read all labels of anything you put in you, on you or use around you) sugars are in just about everything packaged as well as preservatives that contributes to and or causes Dis-Ease.
They sell us stuff everyday that causes us to be ill and they make the money and then once all that crap catches up to us they then make more money “managing symptoms” instead of addressing the causes and curing it. Fudge remission there is a way to get back to normal before the Dis-Ease took over.
Just like living soils need to be fed healthy foods and not chemical toxic crap so do our critters in our bodies need to be fed well.
Let food be thy medicine and let medicine be thy food.

Crohns UC IBS etc are all the same other than what part of the digestive system is being attacked.
If I can help you in anyway please feel free to reach out.

That’s what happened to me. I let the doctors try for 3 years, getting infusions, taking all types eventually needing surgery. I had a resection in October 2015 and now for the past 6 months it is back with vengeance. I need to change my diet for sure and I bought some RSO and I’m going to start taking that every night to see if it helps. What kind of diet do you follow? I’ve done keto and it was good for awhile but then I started getting super cramps in my legs at night so I started eating reckless again. I’m ready to do what ever it takes to get better. Anything you have I would greatly appreciate

Take a look through this thread. Is old but is what I went through etc and what I suggested at the time.

It’s all about knowing what your feeding the critters in your body.
Read labels.
Toss toxic crap in trash like Dawn dish soap and use organic based things like Dr Bronners instead of dawn and for laundry and showers and cleaning things. Most things sold to us today are toxic crap. It may seem more expensive to go organic etc at first look but in reality it ends up being cheaper when you look at all the crap you can eliminate from buying.

Yes I have started to go organic with things like cleaning supplies and such. I really need to get better at foods. I struggle because most healthy stuff doesn’t go through my body like normal people. I thought maybe with cannabis and eating healthy I can get the inflammation down enough to eat fruits and veggies. This is really a god send. I usually don’t mention my disease but for some reason I felt I had to mention it. I’m going to look through this thread and take in all the info. Thank you again :innocent:

Remove all sugars, high fructose corn syrup, corn syrup etc etc etc.
No sugar in my coffee no sugar in my tea lol…old song
Use peppermint teas and ginger teas or add ginger powder to teas etc.
Inflammation is fed by sugars
