My girls at 5 weeks. Any guidance on their schedule is good to hear

5 week in with these girls. Curious to see what you think of them. I feel as 1 is doing better than the other.

Looking good Growmie, what strain are you growing :love_you_gesture:

They look great. On schedule: once you see they are flowering (when pistils first appear at the tips of the plant) you can expect an additional 8 to 10 weeks to harvest.

Autos . First time with auto as well

I grow a lot of autos and you’re doing really great. They can be a challenge compared to photo periods and timing. 5 weeks in, does that include the seedling period? 95% of the autos I’ve grown will start to flower around 28-36 days after the 14 day seedling period :love_you_gesture:

Yes sir. I put them in their permanent pot 5 weeks ago today. I was very concerned about them in the beginning. I had a couple of set backs from the start and heard with autos that could be devestating.

They look good. I had the same thing 1 better than the other. Now 7 weeks later the runt has nicer/ bigger buds .

Thank you bud. I’m hoping for the same thing as well. I was very confused with them in the beginning. Didn’t get to know what I was getting into and made a few mistakes. Finally created my own super soil and got my light right and extra nutes down. I said I wouldn’t mess with them after this batch of beans but now I think I may stay with them every time lol

That it can. The first 2-3 weeks are critical for autos and :poop: going sideways can lead to a stunted plant in flower and a disappointing harvest :love_you_gesture:

Do autos always produce huge fan leaves. Once they took off they grew the biggest fan leaves I’ve ever seen on a few weeks old plant. I was worried about defoliating due to the set back in the beginning but had no choice

I get some super large fans on both autos and photo periods every now and then. I treat both the same as far as training and defoliation. I can tag you on my journal if you want to take a look :love_you_gesture:

@Woody73 dont be scared. Just remember theyre autos and any LST you do need to be done early in the grow

I really appreciate the tip. I can use all the knowledge you can spare. And on that note, is it necessary to flush when I’m only using organic nutes and my self blended super soil

@Woody73 no ned to flush if youre organic unless you see an issue. Ive been growing organic for 4 years and have only had to check ph with one grow because i used a liquid chlorine treatment in my water and it tanked the ph, got that problem solved. Im also swapping over to my own super soil blend… itll be ready in a few weeks
