Do my eyes deceive or are these ladies flowering at 23 days from planting?

@MidwestGuy

Am I mistaken or do these girls show signs of flowering after three weeks in soil?

Yep she sure is

It appears it is. We’ve seen autos flower as early as 2.5 weeks. It appears you’ve got one of the early flowerers. It’s one of the reasons I try to steer growers away from autos.

@ChittyChittyBangin and @MidwestGuy — Thank you both! How soon should I flip the light schedule?

What are you growing? Autos or photos? Whats your light schedule now? Ive got 2 autos in my veg room right now at about 3weeks veg and i think ive got one just like yours trying to flower already. Im with @MidwestGuy a reason why i steer clear of autos. Only reason im growing these were because they were gifted.

@ChittyChittyBangin — These are autos. I was hoping to squeeze in 1-2 auto runs before spring.

I’m currently on 18/6 for lighting. I just gave them their first dose of nutes yesterday.

Its your choice if you want to swap light cycles. Autos will grow on any light schedule. Ive gown them on both 12/12 and 18/6

It really kills me you guys feel this way, because I know you can both grow trees. I’ve never grown anything but autos, in just decent soil and tap-water, and I can’t remember the last time I kept a plant under a QP dry…and not for lack of trying:

Small size early/flowering is not always indicative of final size/harvest for autos.

You can leave them that way until chop if your PPFD is good.

Commonly ~80-100+ days seed-to-harvest each.

I’ve got a few freebe auto strains from seed purchases over the years. I’ve been thinking of firing up 2 auto strains just for the fun of growing. I’ve gone away from flower in favor of commercial carts over the past year or so and don’t grow much any more.

I like growing both but I agree you @Mozzy you can get some big trees for sure. I did 8 ilgm gdp autos.

@ChittyChittyBangin — How has that impacted your yields? Is one more successful?

Thanks, @Mozzy, will one approach yield more than the other?

@Jimster — GDPs are what these plants are. I hope they yield like yours. How many plants did created that haul?

Im leaving them on 18/6

Sorry to hear that, but I know you understand growing and are making corresponding personal decisions.

Would love to see :four_leaf_clover:

I had an auto in my last grow that was deformed, and I almost pulled it on Day 23 when it was only 2” tall…and then I supercropped it when it when it was 53 Days old and 40” from the soil :woman_facepalming:…

…it wound up the biggest of the three I had left in the tent, even after pruning branches and supercropping super-late:

Yields are mainly dictated by the quality and consistency of ongoing environment and related details…Temp, RH, Watering, PPFD/DLI, Airflow, Pruning, Training, Drying, Curing, etc.; and also
genetics…ymmv.
