Do my eyes deceive or are these ladies flowering at 23 days from planting?

Not much more then 30days veg time on this Bruce Banner x Alien Moonrocks auto flower.

It’s only 21 inches tall but covered in bud so they can produce sometimes even though small.

I get alot like this one, sometimes I get big monster autos that veg for 6-8 weeks, every rare once in a while I get a 1-2 oz plant but not very often and it’s usually my fault for a rough start, over water them once when little then pair that with a transplant sometimes can stunt them and theres no time to recover

I grow both, i focus mostly on my photos and i stick autos where I can even it that means its not even in a tent if I over do it

Seed-to-harvest in final pot of soil in a SIP would fix every issue you just mentioned, and more, fwiw

I started 3 autos early October, broke surface October 9th. Here’s a pic of them one week into flower of November 7th!

Here they are 8 days ago, about 9" for front, middle one is about 12" and back one prolly 18" tall.

Thinking of harvesting the front 2 today or tomorrow, altho knowing me, it’ll probably be New Years!

Wow, that’s horrible. Haven’t had that issue yet.

The 3 autos I posted above are Bear Dance autos, supposed to be 33% THC and they smell fantastic right now. I also have 4 Bruce Banner autos that also flowered about a month from popping above dirt, they have another month or so before they are done.
And then this past summer, I had a Medgom auto (10% CBD and 7% THC) that took 222 days from popping her head up until I chopped it off.

Can’t tell with autos, they’re like a box of shitty chocolates!

Once I figured out keeping a decent environment for autos, I haven’t been able to keep them under 4-5 ounces, and not for lack of pruning…even seeds I accidentally grew myself, as well as reputable breeder strains, and consistently ~80-100 days seed-to-harvest, without nutes.

It blows my mind that decent indoor photo growers, have issues growing autos.

@Spudgunner — That is too #$@% funny!!!

@Mozzy — Any other auto wisdom you’re willing to share?

Whatever you want…take a look at my current grow and ask anything you have a question on; but be aware I may kill one or more this cycle trying to keep their sizes in check for RH/mold prevention in my environment:

gotta love autos
from what i seen, they could potentially flower at day 10 if they felt like it. very hard to get a exceptional yield from, yet certain techniques ive recently learned about seem to get some crazy good results from autos as well. so i think its just a roll of the dice when playing with autos

@Hershy420 — Yeah, I’ve read many people like them because the grow time is shorter. If you can master the auto, you can grow as much or more than with photos in a year, given that you can get more runs into the calendar. I’m a newbie to the sport, so I don’t have a dog in this fight.

I’ve been running alot of clones lately and my idea is use my 1.5x3 tents to root cuttings 2x4 and 3x3 tents for veg and my 3x5 and 4x6 tents for flower.

I haven’t worked it all out yet but it seems to be working pretty good so far by me always having more plants in veg then i could ever flower, as soon as one’s harvested i can instantly replace it.
I want a harvest every 2 months (8-10weeks) is the plain.
I end up giving and trowing away several plants when things get over grown but its no problem, clones are free

This could be done with just 2 tents, 1 for germination and veg and the other for flower.

@1HappyPappy — Eventually, I would like to start cloning. My goal is to get a small Gorilla tent and keep a clone mother from which I can pull new girls.

How does starting with a clone impact overall grow time?

Cloning from a healthy known female in veg is faster to harvest than starting from seed as long as your cloning methods are sound and you don’t have issues with the cloning.
I use the aloe plant as my cloning root stimulant and then put in soil and have had 100% success with them rooting. Except for that one I left for a week or more as a cutting in a container of water but tried to get it going anyway.
There’s a couple posts I’ve made in my journal worm poo… on my process

Enjoy the day and keep feeding your endocannabinoid system folks

The actual plant griw times are withing a couple weeks really.
But doing perpetual growing useing clones, my idea is to try always have vegging plants on hand ready to go into a flower tent soon as one comes out.
Effectively (after the first run of course) I should harvest a tent every 8-10 weeks, basically just counting however long it takes that pheno to flower.
It a pheno takes 8 weeks to flower and my flower tent can hold 4 plants.
I’ve got 8 weeks to have 4 plants fully vegged and ready to flip which is very easy to do just tricky to manage fir me so far.
Sonetimes plants get to big and i end up choping them down but it’s working out
