My first grow I’ve been given these auto flowers early flower how is it looking?

Hi it’s nice having an autoflower that isn’t flowered at 6" tall.
Does that one in the middle have flowers yet? if not I’d bend it here and here (orange lines) down to about 90° and tie them down. For more plant canopy even to the light. They’re stretched cuz they need more light

Sorry I’m very new to this, what’s my best approach to tie them down as you see I bent the branch attached to the plastic pole and it broke so I’m hoping that will repair itself. Is there any approach that will make it less likely to snap when I bend it. Cheers

Welcome to the community!
Search Supercropping for bending when rigid. Theres a great video floating around another growmie made. There’s a few methods. One is to hold the stem between your thunb and index finger of one hand, and grab it above that with your thumb and index finger of the other hand and lighty twist in opposite directions, you’ll feel the fibers tear and begin to break down enough to bend it over without breaking. Another is to roll the stem lightly between your thumb and index finger while squeezing slightly, breaking down the fibers while at the same time gradually bending it at that same spot, roll it a little more, bend a little more until she’s bent over where you want it. :victory_hand:

That’s worked perfect thank you

Yep thanks jazw and I forgot to add the whole plant can be boosted up closer to the light then or the light moved closer

I see should I keep the lights at max still or reduce them as I’ll be lowering it?

I don’t know not much into that stuff, dunno much about your equipment, but you can measure light output ppfd or par, with a cell phone. Theirs a chart around that tells how much light a plant can use for different ages or stages.

Okay yhis is where im at after a little super cropping I’ve supported most of the branches that are heavy after bending the stems and I’ve lowered my light which is at 600w I don’t know if this is too close or not? I’m also thinking about giving them a little spray with normal water is this a good idea?

Hey don’t bother spray/foliar feeding, there are different views on this mostly against it, I consider it for first-aid but not on a healthy plant.
I never had a light that good so dunno about distance, if I had a big good light I’d surely measure ppfd and I think a good range is 800 to 1000.
@Low are my numbers ok
Or @OGIncognito @MidwestGuy @Growdoc knows this stuff

What specific model is the light, have you looked for the photone app? It can get you in the ballpark of ppfd, and no don’t spray plants.

Thanks @Jaysittinback and agree no foliar misting past the seedling stage. @low has you covered on the Photone app and I also run my PPFD around 850-950 pushing a 1000 occasionally :love_you_gesture:

I see I set it at 700w and it’s roughly 14 inches off which I think gives me roughly 800 ppfd I don’t know how to check without a meter so im winging it slightly. how do you think the branches ive snapped look, this gave me extreme anxiety aha. Cheers for the help

It’s 720w omega led I think I’ve overdone it the two branches I supercropped, one of them is drooping and doesn’t look so well. Anyone got any advice asap hating myself here.

what do you think mate I tried bending both them stems and I think I’ve over done it is there anyway I can save this?

If they’re not broken through and they’re stabilized like tied to something they should heal. I’ve rarely broken enough to get the droop, that’s scary man I hope you don’t lose them branches.

Don’t be mad at yourself or become scared of training it’s a big part of indoor growing, and I wouldn’t told ya to do it if almost everybody here didn’t do it. I just squeeze soften twist and bend down about 90 and tie there. Aloe or honey are used to dress wounds but I haven’t tried them. See how it looks in a few days

I’m praying bro cheers at least I’ll know for next one. I’ve got some seeds coming tomorrow which I’m going to try germinate for the first time so hopefully I’ll do better with them lol

You’re not doing bad though only thing a bit off that I seen was plants stretched a bit, they did reach a nice age and size healthy ready to flower

There is an app called photone it turns your phone into a light meter. It requires a deffuser that you can make out an inch wide piece of paper wrapped around your phone.
Ppfd reading for flowering 600 to 1000
