My first flip.. HELP!

I have a friend in Big Lake that may like meeting you. He was my go-to guy before legalization, he gets his from the Principal of a major High School.

A little update after leaving the girls home alone for 7 days. The young ones in veg got a little tough love this morning.
What does everyone do when you have 1 plant that is accelerating far more than the others?
I’m thinking about flipping these when they right themselves. Thoughts?
Second. Yesterday when I arrived home the tent that has the plants in flower was at an insane RH of 80% (lung room 55%) as I had no control over the exhaust fan due to the controller going off line. And I thought I saw powdery mildew taking over. So i cranked up the exhaust fan to 6 and that has it below 60% now.
Luckily, after further investigation, it didn’t turn out to be powdery mildew at all :grinning:
I tried my hand at super cropping the tallest branches and raised the light the last few inches to the very top of the tent, and i hope the stretch is about done. 27 days from flipping the lights, 17 days from the first sign of buds.
Veg tent #'s
PPM in 830 AN Sensi ph perfect Master grow recipe
plant #1 667ppm and 5.55ph out
plant #2 648ppm and 5.55ph out
Plant #3 498ppm and 5.53ph out
I bumped these up from 2 feedings per day to 3 feedings per day (to liberal runoff)
Flower tent #'s
PPM in 838 AN ph perfect Connoisseur master recipe
Plant #1 1330ppm and 5.26ph out
Plant #2 1180ppm and 5.48ph out
Plant #3 1100ppm and 5.73ph out
I also bumped these up from 2 feedings per day to 3 feedings per day, also to liberal runoff. The last photo is of plant #1 in the flower tent that had the really ppm runoff. It isn’t showing any adverse affects, so I’m not too worried about having to flush just yet. I thought I would see how the next couple days of runoff looks after adding the additional feeding.

Looks good. I was supercropping my taller ones. I broke some and they didn’t even blink an eye. Just kept growing.

@Lostgirl , Happy New Year

I used that line first and i think second grow, too much of a hassle, now i use jacks 321, 3 dry powders to mix, im in week 4 of flower and my plants are looking as great as any other grow and saving an hour of mixing

@OGIncognito ,Or anyone, Question of the day. It seems the foliage in the middle is insanely dense. Do I trim? How/how much do I trim? (4x2 tent) It seems like the buds aren’t stacking and they are already turning colors. Flipped the lights 31 days ago, First sign of bud development was about 18 days ago. Light is at 70% which should be 800 ppfd or 35 DLI
Or am I just over thinking this? Would better photos help?

Definitely time for the 21 day flowering defoliation. I would remove enough foliage to maintain a good airflow through that middle and the canopy :love_you_gesture:

@OGIncognito , Thank you Sir. Any concern over the color of the pistols ?

@Lostgirl , there you are  Welcome back. I hope you had a great holiday. I broke down on a new light and an order from your 420 Fast buds. I’m looking forward to trying an Auto grow.
But to the little ones at hand, the one on the far right had accelerated far more than the other 2. How would you handle that? Also @OGIncognito ? They have all be topped once.

Looks like normal progression Grow Bro, sometimes early browning of pistils can happen during pollination. If no males or hermies in the tent….all good my friend :love_you_gesture:

@OldNailPounder yeah I’m not around as much anymore. I promised myself in 2025 I would limit my time here. I’m freshly retired I spent my first year on this form every single day trying to help people. This year I’m going to make it about me

When starting three plants you would hope they grow at the same speed. With photos the unfortunate thing if you only have 1 tent there’s not much you can do but continue to let it veg until your other two catch up to your liking.

If you have a second tent you could make that a flowering tent and continue to let the other two veg.

You only have two options in your scenario.
A
Flip all three
B
Continue letting them all veg

420 Fast buds is a wonderful breeder for autoflower seeds. Some of the most pungent you’ll find. Definitely the most affordable. What did you buy?

It’s good that you got a little experience with photos first as autoflowers you’ll need to have your pencil sharpened when growing to be successful. The auto is very unforgiving on mistakes.

I would check the plants thouroughly for sacs or nannas. It does look pollenated to me personally

@Lostgirl , I’ll be missing you, but you know what’s best for you, so I’m also happy for you. :green_heart:
Uffda. I might not have to worry about the big girl anymore. I’m pretty sure I set it back aways tonight while trying to manipulate it around the pot. At first I broke one of the main branches, and while trying to fix that, the main stem split at the crotch. Then while trying to fix that, another branch snapped. I just gotta laugh, I gave 3 of these Fat Bastards away and I can probably get one back. If not, I’m probably better off with just 2 plants in these 2x4 tents anyway.
Anywho, I got the 5 for 5 Christmas deal so I ended up with 10 Strawberry Gorilla, and 10 Cherry Cola. As I think I mentioned, I have a 5x7 closet almost ready, and a Mars Hydro FC-8000EVO bar light ordered that should be here around the same time as the beans.
What are your thoughts on doing 2 of each? So 4 plants total in the 5x7 space with the 800w light? The actual light dimensions are 44 inches x 45 inches for a 4x4 or 5x5 tent?

@Se7en It’s really hard to see everything because it’s so dense, but I was trying to thin it out in the middle tonight to increase the air flow and didn’t see any signs of sacs or nanners. When you say it looks pollinated to you, what are you seeing?
Do you think it could be caused by the lack of air flow? when it gets as dense as it was, the lower leaves don’t get light or possibly air flow, so they shrivel up and die. I do have 2 circ fans running underneath the canopy and 1 above the canopy. And I cranked up the 6 inch exhaust fan to 8 today to help keep the humidity below the 60% mark.

Where? I am interested.
Thanks

@Lostgirl your friends will miss you, but enjoy the freedom.

I get to drive Mrs Daisy, in my retirement.
Never planned that or saw on ā€œcareer dayā€

4 autos in a 4x7 will do just fine. I normally run six or seven plants in a 4x4 tent

The pistils looking singed from the tip and browning downwards. It could also be a sign that theyve been touched by leaves wtc or youve knocked them. I know the feeling though  when i had herm that seeded a few plants i couldnt even find the herm because i had too many plants

@Se7en , yea, I spent over an hour last night defoliating the center mass and searching for signs of herm, and again, well over an hour this morning searching what seemed like every single stem and bud and found nothing. I would totally expect you’re right, I’ve made every mistake possible that could lead one or all of them to herm on me, but I just can’t find anything from the point of view I have available. I can’t turn the plants around to look from a different angle, so it may very well be there and I just can’t see it.
What would be the next signs to look for? As it progresses, will I eventually see sacs or nanners on the pollinated buds?
