Dear professional growers,
I hope this is not a stupid question, but can you grow two plants next to each other? They’re two different strains And be successful?
Dear professional growers,

No problem. Cannabis is cannabis and the differences btw the strains is minimal and limited to the strains’ cannabinoid profile, coloration at harvest, environmental tolerance, and a few other minor factors.
Of course you can just don’t expect same results in same time frame, doing a WW and GDP now and the WW is kicking ass, next 2 could be reverse, is all gentics and phenoms in each seed, just IMHO ![]()
The biggest question i see here is , ?
(Can i grow 2 plant’s next to each other)
In the same pot of soil…? You shouldn’t…
In same resivor all rdwc…? I do it all the time…
If your planting in the forest… ?
The plant’s will mostly feed from everything around them…
As long as they can all get water they should be fine…
Your question has so many different answers that i couldn’t type everything all in this post…
Your question needs to be defined by what your actually trying to do…
Ive been doing this for so long that most thing’s have already been done and can be answered, but your question needs to be more specific …
Nomatter what , you can try and do anything that you want to your plant’s and we will all learn from you and see how things go…
Theres no wrong way…
But some things are definitely going to be harder than others…
Its all a learning curve that we all go through…

Yeah I just mixed grape ape and sherblato in a bowl and took a nice rip ![]()
Go for it , I do recommend topping to try to keep them all at the same height.
Good luck ![]()
A lot of us growers mix strains in our grow spaces. I have 2 Grape Diamonds and 2 Biscotti Mintz going right now. It helps to have an idea of how each strain will grow to know how to pair what you mix in there but that’s really only for lighting heights. A short stocky indica type may not pair well next to a pure haze type because the haze tend to grow tall fast so the short one doesn’t get as intense light unless you keep the tall one shorter by training it or raise the short one up on something. Flowering times can be vastly different as well so don’t judge a grow off 1 plant. Harvest each when they are ready.
As others have said, there are other factors to consider but there’s no reason why you can’t use the same space for multiple strains. I just wouldn’t pot them together unless you had a huge raised bed outside or something like that.
YES
NO
MAYBE
SURE
I do it all the time
Same tent
Same 45 gallon pot
Same 15 gallon pot
Try new stuff and mix that sh*t up
