Growing Different Cannabis Strains in the Same Grow Space

ILGM growers,
Looking for a list of ILGM seeds that grow well together in the same space. As we all love the choice of variety, looking to learn and share once I get my grow journal started here. I see ILGM has the Mix packs, are these meant to be grown together as well?

Hoping for 4 strains at a time:
4 strains of ILGM Indica to grow together
4 strains of ILGM Sativa to grow together
4 strains of ILGM Hybrid to grow together
4 strains of Short, Quick Photoperiod (`8 weeks) to grow together
4 strains of Medium Photoperiod Heavy Yield (9 - 10 weeks) to grow together
4 strains of AutoFlower to grow together

Good Vibes,
J.

Cannabis is cannabis. Any strains can be grown together with no problem at all. It is no different that growing differing varieties of Marigold flowers in your front yard. They are not different plants and generally should all be treated the same.

Autos and photos are not treated the same, as they have differing flowering triggers and require differing lighting cycles.

Your grow goals seem to be very ambitious. What do you have planned for lighting for your grow?

Welcome to the forum.

8 Individual 150W Aerowave, so differing heights do not matter much. I do LBH’s Scrog method for each plant. Full FloraFlex Hydro Flood & Drain setup for 8 plants in 4X8 tent. Currently running the last of my Amherst Sour Diesel @7th week of flower. Trying to find strains with similar flowering times/climate and that people have grown successfully together.

9 Week Sativa Dom- per ILGM searchable functions
Blue Dream
Blue Haze
Super Silver Haze
Purple Haze

Do you already own the 8 aerowave lights? Also you can grow any strains together thats anot a problem the issue is finishing times even tho the breeder says its a 8 week flower strain dosnt mean it will be done at 8 weeks it could finish sooner or later there is no way around this besides running clones of the same strain thats the only way they will finish at the same time also the 4yrs ive been growing ive always grown different strains together and harvest at my discretion of where i feel all plants are good to be pulled i do always shoot for strains that have similar flowering times but they never finish together lol

Yes, running full Vivosun smart grow system. Everything is automated down to the feeding system. Took a ton of trial and error to dial all the systems in. Was a good thing I got the tent setup this year as the rain this year was dismal for veggie garden growth.

The 8 individual lights will help a lot with each plant probably growing at different rates and heights. HST, LST and booster seats will help as well. I grow different strains at the same time and use the above to keep the canopy as even as possible but typically end up with a few on booster seats :love_you_gesture:

Welcome to the neighborhood. I will follow along if you don’t mind.:v:

Growing different strains together in their own individual pot is one thing, growing separate strains together sharing the same nutrient solution could create some issues.

Whats your temps lole with that many lights im curious?

currently utilizing 2 reservoirs, 35gal & 25gal. The 35 gal is where I store my nutes for automated feedings. 25 gal is for the Cal/Mag/Root drip water I use for flushing stagnant nutes out of the 5gal coco/perlite in between reservoir change. That last piece of advice from Aquaman has really kept the growing medium clean and healthy. Just had a few failures testing out all the new systems working in conjunction. Got it dialed in so I could actually take a vacation for once. Had some check the coco and refill humidifier and had no issues. Adjusting the feed times based on actual Netafim NetBow emission took longer than I had hope to dial in. Had 2 reservoir failures due to my impatience with adjusting the PH up. Not fun having to dump 25 gal of nutes down the drain as the PH jumped too fast and pulled the nutes out of the solution and made a messy goo. Really enjoying the Floraflex nutes though, some bulky colas.

Temps stay within the proper ranges per cycle. Only time I had some trouble this summer and may need an AC next time was due to all this rain, the dehumidifier was running non-stop trying to do some good but ended up heating the space to around 82-84 deg F. That problem I can hopefully kick down the road and fall will join us here in New England. Will take a pic of my setup when I have some time to tidy up. Had to re-arrange the grow space so people could not find it when performing maintenance on the property.
