Growing different strains on the same tent

Hi friends!!!
Anyone can please give me an advice on growing autos
This is going to be my first time growing autos , I have grown photos in the past and did very well
My question is can I grow sativa and indica on the same tent ? By the way I grow on a 3x3 grow room E4 infinity light
I appreciate your help thank you

Sure you can! I grow photos of different strains and started seeds in the tent, one ended up to be a auto no harm no foul, plants are plants eh :+1:

As long as you can manage your plants it shouldn’t be an issue. Do know that autos don’t handle stress the same way photos do. If they get upset they will flower early and have poor yield.

Welcome to the community. I love growing autos. Are you growing in soil? I use hydroponic setting myself. For me it’s much easier and less problems.

When I say manage I mean LST, booster seats for shorter plants, higher and lower lights. Just have a plan for when your hard sativa wants to be a tall vine and your indica wants to be a short bush

Thank you @Gl1tch yes I should of added the diff in photos and autos!

Yes you can. Easier with a couple of lights but can be done easily. I do it all the time. If only 1 light just supercrop the sativa after stretch. That will get canopy closer in height. Indica will be ok if shorter than the sativa a bit. Just put them on risers.

Dirty tent for now. Finishing a run of 8.

My strains

Mimosa cake
Orange sherbet
Gorilla cookie
Tropicana cookie

I would like to grow 2 plants at the same time
Any suggestions should I pair to grow them together?

In my experience, you can try to pair strains to grow together, but you will always have some bigger and some smaller. No two plants will ever be the same. It’s better to just pick what you like and manage them to the best of your ability.

Agreed. Thats what I have always done.

You can, but if you’ve never grown autos, you’re likely going to be disappointed. I’ve tried them a few times, and they just don’t compare to photos. Very inconsistent, and I can never get the buds very dense. Maybe autos don’t fit my grow style, or something, but I’ll not waste time and resources on them anymore.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?
