@PharmerBob
Welcome!
And welcome Miles
Gypsy and Willow!!!

I’ve heard having squirrel companions can be quite entertaining!

Welcome Rosie and Teddy @Flitme

We all share a love for life here

Wonderful, a Dog/pet thread.
This is “Pirate” the PWD…telling the Captain to get off his ‘ship’.

It’s fun and frightening all at the same time ! Don’t know what they will get into and a joy to watch them grow into their own. There’s some we never will leave the nest and others we think leave too early.

We have a small rescue where we let them come and go as they please using a cat door they know will always be open to them

Hard to beat a bunch of animal lovers that grow.

Can you tell she is happy. She got to roll in dear scat.

It is one of her favorite things to do, in addition to, I’m sorry to say @PharmerBob , chase squirrels. Thankfully she has never caught one and now she is too old and slow and her chances are less than zero.
Hanging out.

She is beautiful, an old soul :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

My last lab had his own pool too! The one I have now won’t even step in it. She was 3 years old when I got her though… does your dog go in circles and then flop down?

She is just a great dog. My in-laws adopted her, and then due to health issues, she had to become ours. My Mother-in-law named her Amy Farah Fowler, because she said she was very smart and pretty but that pretty was in an unusual way, sort of like the character. After we got her, I realized she loved singing with us, and then we started howling as a family, at least daily… It is sort of bonding, and a lot of fun. After that started, I renamed her to Amy Farrah Howler. We even made it official with the County and her Vet. :smile_cat:

@KPC brother you might wants to drop some beagles here too…

Those babies are a show stopper… TY KPC for sharing…

That is such a great story :dog:

Does she howl to sirens? This is Big Boy. He is thinking you sure the hell can’t grow strawberries. He is right. Anyway, he will hear a siren miles away and harmonize with it perfectly. It’s hilarious except when it is 3:00 am.

I have no idea. We live out in the country, and I haven’t heard a siren in years.

Here 4 the ride if you dont mind me standing in the back just chilling lol

Our first Portuguese Water Dog, Bo.
Uncle Hubie’s farm pond 1987.
A true H2o dog.

We are just under a mile from a well traveled county highway on a dead end road. We can hear police and ambulance sirens. He will start howling and we know that we will hear it soon.

Please!!! All are welcome I’m so happy so many people are joining and sharing :hugs:
