Looking for Tips/advice for LST

This is my first time doing LST and what I watched on it was great :+1: but I still doubt myself. I am looking for any advice.

This pic is literally from my first day (11/2/23) so I have a bit before my training is locked in.

Does the netting have to go lower?

Thanks for the tag @Cloudchucker420. @420savedMYlife , is this a auto? First suggestion would be a bit more light, a little to far spaced between nodes for my liking. If this is not a auto, i would pinch the plant to start the bushing process. You could do only lst but i would recommend getting the top under the net. Then every time a branch reaches the net, stuff it back under. I never done this myself without topping, but is the same principle.

Yes it is an auto…I am scurred to top (this is only my second grow) I am so inexperienced and very doubtful of myself. I just raised the light today to 18" but that was before I trained the plant (it’s about 20" from the top of the plant now) should I move it back down?

I use the scrog for more of supporting purposes. The pic u saw is of 4 plants, if not as thick as mine it that case, u could always use the net to spread them apart more. BUT u can do that with one plant in a scrog if desired. Been dying to try out how much i could pull from one plant in a scrog, but still have not done that. I prefer four, that was only a one month veg lol

Do you have a means to measure ppfd? Photone app can be helpful if set up right.

I would be hitting them with 500 ppfd at that point. I would not top either being a auto… i have not done one to be honest, some people have good success topping autos.

Some of the videos I watched suggested that but I had some clips leftover from my tomato plants so I’m just using those

I usually avg around six oz per plant, but im sure i could pull over a pound with one in a scrog.
