They pot was lime green with orange hairs was from the 90s stunkso bad had to put it in 3 bags to carry it in your pocket. 1 hit high 2 hits stoned sativa dominate. It made ur lungs feel like it expanded in ur lungs and they were gonna explode. Buds so sticky you could throw against windshield and they would stick there . It came from northern maryland i know guys originally got it from Rockhall area and always grown outside . Id love to find seeds or something even close . They called it CCFS

Man, the first hydro or, by the gram, weed I ever bought was skunk #1, back in '99. You described it almost perfectly. I bought 5 g’s from a homie and it was in 3 bags, in a toilet paper roll, wrapped in toilet paper, in another bag, in my crotch. I walked past another friend and he said, “Go home, now!” Had it for less than 5 minutes before I was walking probable cause 
It literally flaked the bag with crystals. So much so, you could pull the small flakes off with tweezers. You could hardly break it up, but it smoked like a chimney. We filled a 50 gallon trough and used a 5 gallon Ozarka bottle for a gravity bong. One guy threw up. I had to lay on a table. Nobody made it out alive lol. It was the highest I’d been, up to that point. I’ll never forget it.
I wish I could help ya on some true skunk, but I’m outta there on the breeder for that. Thanks so much for the trip down memory lane, tho!

Authentic Genetics, the Original Skunk #1 from the 80’s created by Mel Frank is available. They haven’t been jacked with so it is ol skool reggie seeds. Gotta grow em to see if male or female. I have yet to buy them but is on my list for my next purchase.
I found a good likeness to ol Skool Acapulco Gold and it was awesome. Godfather OG is very Ol Skool tasting as well, you can grab that from ILGM.

I grew some auto super skunk and oh my does it stink and taste so good and plant put off plenty of flower. Ordered more of same seeds definitely very impressed with it. Good luck I was on same mission and figure why not try them and oh my.

Yes agree with @OGIncognito Mr.Skunkman is the guy…you may also try NASC *Ed Rosenthal’s Super Duper Skunk (F) Its billed as an old school style smell and sticky icky
