Orginial Skunk strain

If this is in the wrong place or not allowed please forgive me and delete it.
Back in the 80’s we use to get “Skunk” . Man I really miss it. Its really hard to find it. I found it on a site called “seed bank” has anyone purchased from this place before? Or if anyone knows where it can be purchased please let me know.

ILGM has a super skunk strain both auto flower and photo periods! And I believe that strain is based off the original skunk strain!

I bought Granddaddy Purple from Seed Bank, they may be an ILGM affiliate seeing as the same name was on the cleared transactions with my bank. The GFP was an excellent strain.

In the 80s, your probably refering to Skunk #1 . Many sell it, but i prefer the Amsterdam version. I have a buddy that purchased some from a bank called I 49 online that he likes.

I crossed Skunk #1 from a line of Amsterdam bred Skunk #1 i purchased in the early 90s with La Blue Dream and those seeds from that cross is one of my favorite smokes.

If you are growing any strain from seed the genetics are questionable. Even back in the 80s plants from seed had variations. I have begun to take clones from each plant I grow now. I may later just toss it out, but if the plant turns out to be something really good then I can keep it going. So just before I switch to flower I take a few cuttings and keep one of the best growers. I recently had a Blue Dream that had a great terpene profile. Smelled like juicy fruit gum. But it didn’t develop the aroma until it cured. I didn’t clone it or keep the stump alive as I sometimes do. so its lost. That’s when I decided to keep a start from each plant until I determine if its a saver or not. Each seed can and will be unique even though variations can be minor.
