……ooooo that smell
I wish it was Scratch n’ Sniff!
Great looking! And thriving!
You got a righteous one there brother. Stink it up!!
Thanks guys! I’m excited
Gorgeous landscape happy Growing
Wow yes!! Both you guys @GrowKush @Dexterado … Have some great looking stinkers… …Bet the smokes gonna be great too!
Beautiful! Look how fat those buds are! Big difference growing outdoors compared to a cramped up tent.
@GrowKush Are you going to harvest any seeds from this strain? I think it would be a good idea too seeing how rare these are. They look great!
@anon34311147 Yesiree! This cultivar is literally from the ‘80’s out of Todd McCormicks catalog. All these seeds I popped are female, but I have a male NL #5 from Todd’s catalog that I will pollinate two or three colas with.
I still have 10 reg Skunk #1 from Todd that I will start next March and hope for a couple good males so I can have only Skunk seeds.
The Skunk #1/NortherLights #5 should produce some great seeds for me to continue honing my skills all the while growing dank bud!
I see now that you were probably talking to Dex
I was talking to both of you actually. I think that will be a great combo. NL#5 and the Skunk #1… i am really considering on getting some Skunk #1 seeds. Do you have a link?
Edit: i think i found him…
Ok I’ve been jonesing for some skunk like from the early 80s. Would you say these smell/taste like that with that intensity?
Yes!
These are literally they exact seeds that will grow the exact weed we grew up with in HS.
I get the here:
I bought every one of his packs … well non of his hybrids, but all the originals…
I found him when listening to Potcast podcast.
He is being interviewed for about 4hrs and discussing the back story into acquiring these seeds.
Here is a link to half the interview:
Interesting read!..Looks like some great plants and strains …Wonder how many plants one would have to sprout to have a female though?
Good lord @Dexterado !! What is that, like 2 awg wire you have to tie those massive colas with?!
@AL_GREEN This was a 5 pack of seeds and 4 were female.
Ha ha, just garden wire. Unfortunately I found some rot yesterday, so I had to harvest early. That was my first and last attempt at outdoors. Humidity in Missouri is off the scales last two or three weeks.
Me too Dex… here in the StL area.
This week should be good. The following week we’re back over 100°….
I’ve been spraying with a potassium bicarbonate and milk mixture to ward off the PM and any other mold problems that potentially could arise.
Plants are healthy.
Went out this morning and defoliated the yellow leaves……
Good luck!
