Little problems not sure what though!

Got these Fire OG feminized just a little over 2 months old still in veg on 18 6 in pure compost and fed worm castings. Just wondering what you guys think about my girls and what’s going on with them I’m thinking nitrogen deficiency or calcium magnesium deficiency a little help or reinsurance would be nice thank you.

Thank you for the welcome my friend!

They’ve been in pure compost for over a month now. I transplanted them at a month and 3 days old. I figured that they would start showing me signs of it being too hot when they were smaller not now that they’re bigger. So a key thing I’d like to let you in on is that I pulled my lights to the top of the tent and turn them all the way up because I realized I had them too short and the nodes were stacking too tight they’re essentially getting the same amount of lumens they were before just from farther away.

Thank you for the suggestion!

How many watts of light per square foot?

Can you post an equation that I can follow I think I have an idea but I’m not quite sure of how to measure it.

The compost you are using, how long has it been breaking down? I dont see a nitrogen deficiency. Usually with castings and compost youll get a nitrogen spike and not the opposite.

I see no signs of excesses/deficiencies but the lighter green at the tips of all the serrated edges indicates overwatering.

This is what I go by. I’m just finishing up my first grow using LED lights. They work well.

Very well aged to the point where I had a lot of red worms in it so I know the biom was good and also it was less like poo and more like dirt which I think means it’s pretty well aged.

Thank you! But I don’t believe I’m overwatering only for the simple fact that just a few days before this they were all drooping due to the medium being dry. The way that I like to water is by feeling the pots weight it never steers me wrong I can say that the plants that are showing this have dryer and crispier leaves and had lighter pots so do you think I could have been underwatering because they really started to show the signs of stress after I turned my lights all the way up another thing is is that my grow room has been seven to eight degrees hotter than usual because of the weather outside my AC cannot keep up

Thanks Mike!

I currently have 25w per sq ft
So I think im ok in that department
From everything I’m reading from everybody I’m believing they’re showing me light stress I have been babying them until now because I also have an outside operation and realized that the same plants that I transplanted a week after these ones are bigger than them and I haven’t fed them anything and they’re showing me no signs of stress so I just think it’s the Heat from my LEDs and the ambient temperature outside being way too high!

Still let me know what you think?

This is only my 2nd grow ever!

Do you have a tds and ph meter? You could always do a soil slurry to see exactly where you stand as far as ph and ppms.

I do have both meters my pH test well every time 6.0 to 6.8 on average. My PPM which is going to sound crazy…runoff is like 2,200 something but either my meter is broken because it is old or I think that the runoff from a compost compared to run off from traditional soil and the salt level of the synthetic nutrients is different I’ve experienced nute burn and nutrient lock out. These girls seem to sing when I transplanted them over a month ago and haven’t really showed me any signs of pH or nutrient stress.

I don’t think it’s broken my first 10 grows I was using living soil so if you’re running in compost, it’s gonna be similar. I was getting 6000 ppm. I switched to Coco. It’s easier to get a good reading.
