Peltiers will work if sized properly. You can just use hole saw or jig saw and install cold side inside with hot side and active cooling heatsink outside. It’s pretty much how all of these thermoelectric wine coolers are designed. I would agree that it takes a little knowledge and elbow grease but i don’t imagine anything that a 10 minute YouTube video wouldn’t cover. Once you had the parts and tools building out peltier unit is less than a 1 beer job. Assuming you don’t lose a finger so is popping a hole in a refrigerator.
Of course, I’m not doing it when these little wine coolers are a dime a dozen. But I’m not going to spend $3200 on a big unit that needs the same treatment either lol. I’m just still laughing at the guy who told me this couldn’t be done to the level of a cannatrol.
