Led light help 2x2 around 200$ full cycle

Help was planning on getting a HLG 135 Rspec but won a Amazon gift card 150. Have a 2x2x6 have sf-1000 already need more. HLG 135 not on Amazon need best light possible on Amazon for around that 150-200 range. Already have 3 auto started 2 weeks old tomorrow so need to order soon. Please all help and tips are welcome

Spider Farmers SF series lights are decent. I would go that way. I would go with a 2000 for a single plant.

Thanks, already have 1 sf-1000 going in there just looking to add another light, but already have 3 started. Did the math not enough room for a sf-2000 plus my sf-1000. Need enough power for 3 plants

3 plants in a 2x2?? You will have your hands full. You can add a second sf1000. Check out the journal by @MadamCalamity

Thanks a lot

Yep, I’ve got one of those in my 2x2 veg tent. In my opinion it’s not a bad little light. I’m gonna try and see how long I can take my vegging Banana Kush in there. Also debating on either getting another XS1500 or an HLG 260W QB V2 r spec. Only because of more power and using only one driver.

Here’s a pic of my XS1500 and my manifolded Banana Kush. Yes, I remoted the driver outside of the tent.

Peace :v:

BTW there is a website called coco for cannabis. It has info on there for different led grow lights and the XS1500 is listed. Check it out and see if it can answer some of your questions. As far as 301b and 301h leds I’ve read there’s little difference in output if any.

Maybe @dbrn32 can assist you with any questions. He’s a smart light guru on here and won’t steer you wrong.

Peace :v:

Hey cheba mag can that xs1500 not enough light for 1 plant. Already been on coco website and watched there review. Unless I misunderstood what his light is 120-150 watt should be enough for 2 plants in full cycle. Exceptionally with the Samsung dio and the added IR light, going to be in a 2x2 grow tent along with my sf-1000 has to be enough for at least 2 plants right ? 3 if had space ?

If I were you I’d get another sf1000 so you could daisy chain the lights for even dimming and power usage. You want equivalent lights, you get one with more or less power the light distances from canopy will be different for each light.
Your not lighting the plants you are lighting the space.
How are you going to do 3 plants? Autos? 2 gal pots? 12/12 from seed?
Whether you do 1 or 3 the yield will be the same. Your just adding more work. :v:t3::man_shrugging:
These are 2x4s with 2 plants each, photos

I’m not too sure on enough light for 3 plants. Two maybe and probably depend size of pots. Also genetics of plants and whether they’re compact or average size in growth. I have mine in a 3 gal. fabric pot and don’t really want it outgrow my 2x2. But also want to veg long enough to get maximum yield. For now it’s too early for me to make a prediction with my XS1500 and how many plants I can get in the 2x2. IMHO more light is always better. Depends on what you want and can afford at the moment.

Thanks a lot for the advice still looking around best of luck
