Just Started Seedlings… What am I Doing Wrong….?

I feel like i am already doing something wrong…

These seedlings were germinated and placed in the pods 2 weeks ago. I have done my best to maintain proper temperature and humidity - about 77F and around 60-70%

They do not seem to be growing anymore than this…

I’ve removed the cover in hopes that it will help let more light in, thinking that might be the issue….?

For more information about the setup….

Way way way too wet. Seedlings don’t need more than a couple milliliters of water a day, for the first few days.

Yes, far too wet. Let the soil dry out between waterings for root health.

Your 1200 watt lights are only 170 watts each and the light claiming to be 600 watts is a 70 watt light. You are going to need far more light to flower 4 plants. You might get away flowering 2 plants with the lights you have.

Happy growing.

Can you recommend some more accurate and affordable lights that I can use to replace these ones?

I only plant 4 seeds under the guise that 50% will likely end up male… kinda hoping that is the case anyways because my tent is honestly only big enough for 1-2 plants, too

Any light built with Samsung LM301 series diodes. A pair of HLG Patriot 150s will get the job done for 2 plants. You could also consider a single HLG 260 Rspec. Spider Farmer makes light with good diodes as well.

Good ighting is among the most important factors of a grow. Cannabis is very light hungry. You can’t really go cheap on them if you want good harvests.

HLG has a 25% off sale beginning this weekend.

Unfortunately to be successful you can’t cheap out on lights. Trust me, I’ve tried. Just doesn’t work. You’ve got to make the investment, and just be done with it for a while. I bought a refurbished hlg 350r for my 2x4 tent, and it works great. No regrets. And I do believe they have a sale going, or use code DUDE. Here’s mine at 10 days today. I just watered it which is why it looks wet. Otherwise, wait until it dries out before watering. I won’t water this one again for at least a couple days, and maybe longer depending on how fast it dries out.

HLG is still 25% off. If you get a refurbished light it’s basically a steal. Ex 350R $599, refurbished $399, with the 25% off refurb $300. So you can get a top notch light for half price. I use a refurbed HLG light and couldn’t be happier. You can’t tell it from a brand new one in looks or performance.

I’m not complaining so far this tent is just about 25 days along
The one in the middle was started outdoors in late sept and stunted for a good 10 days easy into the 2nd week of October

The light is running at half power

Here’s my current journal for proof …lol and just incase anyone wants to follow along …I’m a noob and can use all the help advice and conversation I can get …lol thanks
Oh well I cannot for the life of me post a link to my journal lol

So one thing I learned about seedlings because I too was having the same issues was to put clear domes on them for the first couple weeks and only spray the domes. After I started this technique I have had no issues with it any of my seedlings in fact they have Thrive better than ever. I believe @OGIncognito was the one who suggested using the domes I could be wrong. I do know though your plants look similar to mine and I use a super cheap 150 watt metal hell I light bulb for my seedlings. Good luck I hope you find a way to make them thrive

So for risk of asking a very dumb question… I’m learning…

Are these lights compatible with both vegetation and flowering phases? Or would i need to buy 2 separate sets of lights…?

@Bizzle start lights are you using
