Well friends. Since this may be my last grow. I thought it only fitting I did a journal here. And with all auto since they are what I started with. This should be a simple grow. Other than low temps to deal with. I have the big tent set up to make things as easy on me as I can think of. I waited till these were a few weeks old before starting this since I was still trying to get the tent in order. Here is what I am looking at though. I am still in coco with Jacks.
The 4th is a Critical purple that will be late here. I only have room for 3 final pots in the veg tent. the Critical purple is up and will be included with next weeks pictures.
Thanks, and @Retiredoldguy It is because of health issues now. I get winded and light headed doing almost nothing now. Staying focused is another deal. If this grow works. I will keep 2 tents. the 5’ that I could do 2 plants in if set up similar to this. And one to dry in. I would have room to add a bed for guest in there when not growing. I don’t want to stop growing. I really enjoy it. My grows have really suffered the past year.
I get it… I just recently gave up combustion smoking because my lungs couldn’t handle a joint anymore… vaping dry herb seems to be filling the need now… we do what we can…
I was sampling my stuff and gave that up trying to figure out if there was any thing I could change to fix this. I used a mighty. now my sister is enjoying that If things don’t change with stopping that and giving up sodas and most sugar’s. I will borrow it back. It was good for nights to fall a sleep fast
Sorry to hear about the health issues but if this is gonna be your last hoorah I’m hanging for your finale. Who knows maybe the situation changes at the end? Best of luck to you.
Thanks @Fieldofdreams This will be the only grow for this year for sure. I have a lot of jars I saved as samples for me. So my sister will be covered for a while. I really wanted to do a Colombian gold though. I found a bud from @repins12 in an old pill container. From 2013. I opened it to smell it expecting no smell. It reminds me of the old skunk bud to a T. It would make a great air freshener
I have a pair of his autos growing now, Snowbound Abduction. They look stellar, and my fav part other than the potency of all of his crosses is the leaf to bud ratios lol.
I’m in the same boat. I quit growing a year ago. I’ve got pounds upon pounds of weed just sitting around doing absolutely nothing that’ll end up flushing one day.
One hit and I choke and cough for 45 minutes with threats of ’ing my britches in the process. Let’s say the pain ain’t worth the pleasure!
40 years of cigarettes I guess. My family has got enough good weed to last 2-3 years so there happy. I have to say I truly miss growing but I can fill that void with other things.
Thanks all. @Lostgirl have you tried a dry herb vape. Even the cheap ones aren’t to bad. I got a mighty after that. And You really can taste the flavors. And set the temp to what you like. Lowers temps are really smooth. A light hit at a higher temp is also smooth. Just a thought if you didn’t want to quit all together. I will make it through this grow right before getting a new pacemaker. So I will not have to ask for help at the end here. Thanks @dbrn32 This feed system is working out good for me. So I am hoping come next year. I can do anther pair in the 5’ tent. I will have room in it for a filter. So no smells in the house. I have better days like today where I feel like I can grow a lot. And other days where I skip feeding because I get so winded. This set up lets me just our into a funnel and I am done. Other than the run off. Which I can do at any time. But the autos are my inc. policy
It’s funny you mentioned the dry vape. I got into the vape business on the ground floor. I had a brick and mortar vape shop and an online store. I’ve got a trailer full of vape stuff just sitting there. As soon as I read this post I ran out to the trailer and low and behold I’ve got what you’re talking about. Dry vape and battery brand new in the box
