Is she foxtailing?

This is an auto Girl Scout Cookies Extreme (my first grow). She’s 69 days since she first sprouted up.

If so, do I need to go ahead and chop?

Looks a bit early to me. I am admittedly not an expert. Close ups of the trichomes would be helpful to the community.

She looks as if she is a bit but she’s not done. Raise your light a bit or turn down the intensity.

Foxtailing is mostly a bag appeal thing, my GG4 did and she still smokes fine.

Thanks for that info. I couldn’t really figure out the cons reading online. I was hoping I could just ignore it for a couple more weeks. I did raise my lights yesterday. I did a crap job on LST so the main colo sticks way up. Hahaha

Yeah, I know how that goes! She looks very happy, give her lots of love and she’ll reward you.

Waiting has been the hardest part. I brew beer and always hated the three weeks that usually took (fermenting and carbing in the keg). I’ve come close to clipping a small nug on the bottom to try it out, but so far I’ve just stayed away. At this point, figure she’s only got a couple weeks left anyways before she of the trichomes start to turn amber. Just ordered some new soil for my next run at it.

@Reb when did she start to flower? I have 5 that did that when I got my new light, but caught it early early enuff that they’re ripening as the inner buds are getting close. Wait a couple weeks if you can and let that foxy lady fatten up. It ain’t over 'til the fat lady sings!

One of my foxy ladies Sept 5th, oops, turn that new light down!

And again Sept 26. Those tails quit growing long and thickened up. It’s now about 3’ round and firm. Another 2 or 3 weeks to go.

Here’s a whole tent look, a 4x4 with 9 in there!

She started to flower around August 14th:

Those are some really nice looking plants! Hopefully by raising my lights, it’ll get mine to thicken up and not continue to foxtail.
