Foxtailing confirmation

I’m currently growing Barney’s LSD auto at week 8 flowering.
Unfortunately, my flower tent temperature hit 90 for a day and 87 for a couple of days. This is the first time I’m seeing this and wanted everyones thought and if this is foxtailing? And if so do you generally let it grow or harvest? I was planning on chopping it in two/three weeks.

Yes this is foxtailing. Many will tell you to raise the light. I’ve had about seven plants different occasions foxtail. I believe it’s genetics but that’s just me. Raising the light is never fixed it for me.

To be honest with you I simply ignore them. There’s really nothing you can do. It’s not going to hurt your weed whatsoever it’s not going to interfere in your harvest whatsoever by all means continue to grow. It does create a small issue depending on how bad they are foxtailing if you’re watching the tricones on the original buds as the foxtails make it hard to get to them buds with a microscope.

Once you are ready to harvest, and your weed is dry and it’s time for trim, simply trim them or completely off.

My two cents :moneybag:

I always continue my grow checking tricomes on older bud. I dont know much about it really but ive just kind of gathered and came to the conclusion that its mostly a bag appeal issue. all my usuable bud is grade A to me.

I get them occasionally…I bang a lot of light and run warm. They smell, taste and feel the same as the rest of the buds and when I scope them, they are loaded with Trichomes. I do try to raise the light (usually end up at as high as it can go) and try to drop temps…but I do not sweat it. I dont care about bag appeal

Same boat, I am close and wonder about foxtailing etc, all new to me. I believe I am close. Going to upload some pics later in my grow thread and tag a few of you to give an opinion.

I slowly decrease the number of hours of light by 15 minutes every 3 days or so to decrease chance of foxtailing.

I’m the same way… If it’s frosty it goes in the bowl.

I did start reducing the light period at the end…I have built it into my grow plan now.
