Hey I am looking for your thoughts as to what could be happening with my grow. I’m not sure if it’s something good or something I should be concerned about.
I have foxtailed a grow in the past which I believe was due to too much light or the light being too close. It looked like new white pistils that started growing after the others turned had turned orange and grew straight out.
This plant is 101 days out of the soil.
Seed = ILGM Zkittlez auto flower
Light = HLG Scorpion Diablo
Temps = 49.5 - 71 degrees F
RH% = avg 52.4%
Intake and exhaust fans run 18/24 hours respectively
Two smaller fans run 24/7 inside tent
Medium = Coco / perlite 80%/20%
Nutes= Silica, fish Sh!t, jacks 321
No Co2
@GreggT i think I can use another week. Reason being is that on the purple sugar leaves I can see trichomes starting to turn brown. This is a 70% / 30% indica dominant strain therefore I will plan to go for late in the harvest window to get more body high. That is my thoughts on that. What do you think?
I dont look at sugar leaves at all. Try to get used to looking at the bud itself. Some tend to harvest early looking at sugar leaves as they will turn quicker than the buds. By looking at your pictures, I see pistols turning brown but none starting to recede back. I would give it another 10 days and then look at the pistols. When 80% turn brown and start turning back into the bud, then that is when I start my flush.
Now two days later I am still seeing some weird formation and I am therefore backing off the lights from a DLI of 50 to below 45. The grow light meter chart also says I should start decreasing DLI.
Its all good. Just a little foxtail. You are moving in the right direction. Most people dont realize the difference between the 2 colors until its pointed out. thats how I realized it also!! lol
