Is it possible to dry buds faster using raw rice?

Just curious if anyone has ever tried or heard of drying their freshly cut buds by placing the buds on top or in raw rice since raw rice is good at absorbing moisture. Wondering if it will absorb any thc out of the buds. I imagine that if it is safe to do so, it would be great for quick samples as well. hope all is good with everyone.

You guys are funny. I guess that means nobody has tried it or heard of anyone that has done it. I think I might just give it a try with a couple of buds just to experiment, why not. Hopefully no harm will come out of it. I know the proper way to dry and cure but while testing a sample bud off one of my ladies that is ready for harvest next week, the thought crossed my mind. Stoners curiosity. Lol, Got to keep you on your feet garrigan62.

I don’t take the risk with all the humidity we have here. Plus I figured cool temps help keep the drying process slowed down.

Just the way I do it…_

Very good point and appreciated Floridason. Humidity not a problem here, The Valley of of Apples in California is desert lands.

Stomper as well.

Awesome, sounds like you have done it. What is your comparison to the standard?

Livewire in tabacco country

the longer it cures going in and out of case makes it a better product

If it gets too cool you can get moisture build up and bud mold. Too warm could dry it too fast.
