Figured I’d ask my questions here…sounds like once you’re in the soil you only add molasses every now and then. Do you amend the roots lush with anything before you plant or do you use it straight from the bag? Think I’ll be getting 3 sips too!

And when you refer to top feeding I assume that’s not through the fill tube? You also mention a pump at the beginning, is that one per bucket and how do you have that hooked up?

Straight from the bag, slowly top-watered in with a sprayer of dechlorinated, roughly PH’d water.

Look into Earthboxes and others too…there are lots, as well as DIY…gardeners use them for all kinds of things, not just herbs

When top-watering (with or without molasses, etc.) it is like watering any other pot/bucket/etc. with a sprayer. Only did that a couple times the whole grow; it is unnecessary once they’re established, or with a rare molasses add. Otherwise, just dumping decent water down the fill tubes as needed/keeping them topped off to the weep-hole.

It is an air pump with tubes/air-stones like you’d use for a fish-tank, and I use a splitter with check-valves and tubbing to run 3-4 off one pump that is pretty strong:
