I want to take plants out of a greenhouse, and put them under lights!?!

For me I grow indoor photos and i am having a go with some outdoor also although I would grow autos outdoor depending on the strains, some autos have a reputable 2 pound plus yield.

What you’re missing is that when you top them, they stop growing upwards for 7+ days. So, if you top, there goes a whole week of vertical growth on a plant that is a 3rd of the way through its life cycle. You said you’re noticing it recovering? Let it recover & grow without farther stress. Autos do not like stress, and you’re pushing the limits, for sure.

Well, these were in a greenhouse, but right when they came up the weather went bad…, and not nearly enough sun, so i brought them inside, and put them under lights… I can still put them in the greenhouse on nice sunny days, and then put them under the lights again when the sun goes down or is too weak…, I suppose… I think @PurpNGold74 does that… When the sun has no clouds over it ,it is nice hot sun in the greenhouse, but when all clouded over… like usual lately, no good!!!

Yes, listen to @blackthumbbetty, you’re stressing them out too much.

Ok… I will not top them then… I thought it sounded strange, for that person to suggest that at that point, but i have been thinkin about it ever since he said it…!!! lol Before he said that, I never thought of that at all!!! I just thought, ok, put them in the 3 or 4 gallon pots, and put them under a lot of light, and see what happens… So, I will not top them then and see what happens… And get some more seeds, and try again asap… Thanks for the advice everyone!!!

Does perlite keep well? Would it ok in a somewhere damp, cool or cold garage? Was thinking of getting a big bag of it, if it will keep well in these conditions…

I am nobodies success story LOL. My yeild is poo with the extra attention. Told ya. Dont top her. Counterproductive. 2 twicely yeilded small buds. 1 well recovered thick bud. U dont want popcorns.

Yup. Just keep it dry. Kinda leaches moisture from the air. I jept mine in the bag it came in. Double rubber banded and cool dark

Well, maybe i should not get the 4 sq. foot bag then…, lot of moisture in the air around here in winter time… lol Maybe I could leave it in it’s bag, then put it in a garbage bag, and twist tie the garbage bag… lol Let me see how much I would save on the big bag… lol Thanks @PurpNGold74

4 cu. ft. actually… lol

I would advise topping them early you may loose height but you gain more colas. Its better to have many colas instead of just one it’ll go from 20cm to 70cm during flower stretch so I wouldn’t worry about it. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

Even if they are so stunted at this point @Weedwizard??? Thanks!!! I forgot, i was going to measure them again, and let u guys know the height now…

Still only about 4 inches tall really, Maybe a little more…, the two bigger ones… The smaller one… did’nt measure, at least half inch shorter,…

I definitely wouldn’t top them, it will only slow them down and you’ll get no colas.

Hey, does anyone know what ph Happy Frog Potting Soil is? Could not find out online…! I was thinking of using that, or Happy Frog mixed with this other potting soil i have for seedlings next time? Anybody ever use Happy Frog for seedlings??? Work out good??? Some people say the FFOF is too hot for seedlings…? Maybe @PurpNGold74 or @raustin or @blackthumbbetty or @Weedwizard might know? thanks!!!

Strange that F.F. says clearly what ph FFOF is…, and I can not find out what ph Happy Frog is or Light Warrior either…? When I tried to find it online awhile ago that is… Did i get all the names right this time…??? lol

And most perlite sellers say it is nuetral…, and one company says it is nuetral at about 7.0 - 7.3 or so ph… So, perlite must have a ph then??? One company must be testing theirs, and says what they come up with…, and for some reason different sizes of their perlite, have a little bit different ph’s…

I’ve had nothing but pain with hot soils, myself. Autos, especially, tend to like light nutes.

Oh… Happy Frog seems too hot too sometimes??? I can use this stuff I have, that does not seem too hot… It does have various things in it, but not as much as FFOF, I assume… I am not sure, but do not think that is what stunted my crop this time…

U like Light Warrior, or maybe Pro Mix for seedlings…???

Happy Frog is much lighter in nutes than Ocean Floor.
