I have a PH meter, but kinda a cheap one, I think…, and that other thing, PDS, or something like that…? Have not used that second thing yet… tho!!! lol

Would that be ok to put photo’s outside for 8 or 9 days in a month or so…??? Kinda sketchy maybe??? Not sure what kind of seeds to get!!! Yesterday was looking at them and reading about them…, and was thinking, “I don’t wanna get Auto’s, but I have to, because I am prob. gonna have to put them outside for a week or more, during a bad time of year for young photo’s to be outside!!!”!!!

Think i will have the seedlings and into veg. in the closet, and the older plants in a tent, for late veg. and flowering…??? With the HLG 260 in the tent…!?! Sound good??? I think the 260 watt will be too hot for a walk in closet???
Nah its the lowest heat running 260w u can think of. May add 5-10 degrees depending on closet ventilation. N no bud. 8-9 days later in the season will def trigger them to flower. So if u get photos a tent will be mandatory. You dont have anyone trust worthy to check on n water the girls?

Another guy on here, on another topic of mine…, showed me pics, and he said his auto is stunted too…, not as bad as mine, but he is under lights the whole time, unlike me… He is trying another one, and it looked pretty dang good to me, at 12 days old when he sent me the pic… Maybe this new auto of his will go well… I hope!!! People do struggle with these Auto’s. Another guy on here, way down south, near the equator, said he gave up on auto’s…, and he grows these big, killer Photo’s!!! For medical customers!!!
Yup. I grew autos: Berry Bomb (almost harvestd), lemon haze (didnt germinate), think different (didnt germinate) northern hog (eaten by rodent) northern lights (damped off and died from overwatering) and white widow (grew for a month but SUPER stunted. Like 2 inches tall after a month) probably a couple more… not my best moments
Whoaaa!!! Sorry Buddy!!! That really sucks!!! Now I don’t feel quite so bad!!! And u should’nt either… Both of those other guys have and do grow killer photo’s!!! One guy grows for medical customers, and I have seen pics of the other guys kick ass Photo’s!!! Big, thick killer looking buds, not nugs even!!! Big, thick buds!!! lol I was like!!! I wanna grow like that!!! lol
The guy that posted the pics of the big buds… He posted a pic of this stunted 5 week old Auto, and I was like, “Shoot, wish my Auto’s looked like that!!!”. He is bummed, he said he thinks he will get a half ounce outta that plant at the most, and that is way too small, and he is right in my opinion!!! He has these strong ass lights… HPS or something I think, with some trick set up to keep things cool enough…!!! lol
What is that other topic of mine…? " Feeding/using fertilizer on seedlings", something like that, if u wanna check out his pics…, and our conversations… Mostly about auto’s though!!!
Trust me man. Look thru a few journals around here. Soak up all the knowledge u can. Like. PH at 6.3-6.8 for soil. And TDS/EC meters read in ppms (parts per million. And that is essentially how many parts of combined nutrients u have in ur water or soil. Its very addicting. I spend waaaaaay too much time on this site but im always online anyway. Just now im soaking up knowledge for another ohase of my life. Look at LST and topping and fimming and then look at people doing these techniques. See how they affect yield and what not. You find out weed is a resilient friking plant. And if you dont kill it 9/10 u made it stronger

yea… I used to top a lot!!! Try to keep them less tall, not looking like pot plants, as much as I could…, and making more branches all over the place…!!! Someone said I should top these stunted auto’s, but I am afraid that will stunt them some more!!!
I have been spending soooo much time trying to learn and save this stupid little crop…!!! And learn what to do next crop, of course!!!
Guess I will not grow auto’s next grow then, after hearing how ur Auto’s went, and how mine are going!!! And others too!!! I made some mistakes on mine, and not enough sun!!! But, if they were Photo’s and I get my new light real soon delivered here finally…, I could come out with a decent crop outta these plants, I think… But since they are gonna flower pretty dang soon, i think…, that is not gonna be good!!!
9 watt leds??? But, u have a nice plant with good, tight buds on it right now, with those lights??? Or outside maybe???
Well, if u have a few real 9 watt lights, that would be decent…, I guess… Phillips does make good lights!!!
I know nothin about lights!!! Not much at all about growin in pots and indoors, and all this new stuff u guys are doing!!! lol
Dont let my horror story discourage you from autos! I sure wont let it stop me. In my next order ill have a few i want to toss in. But ill grow them along side my photos. I have a few more strains i bought before i found ilgm so may run a couple of them next. But they have grade a genetics here. And a few places i bought from last time ive never heard of. So look thru the shop n pick what grabs ur eye. I wanna try that power pack with banner in it. N the blue pack. But those wont be popped until xmas at the soonest
I use 3-6 of the 9 watts inside a fishtank. Well around and above n inside. But thats for rainy/cloudy/short days. I try to put her outside when i go to work. N supplement extra hours inside for 18-20 hours a day. Done that with all… 6-7 plants ive grown since june. They do spend 3-4 days straight inside sometimes. And NEVER over night excluding a few times and ive lost plants overnight. Also have a bagseed i have outside all the time.
Hmmmmm. Interesting!!! That’s cool!!! Long as it works!!! Sounds like u got some good buds almost ready to harvest now!!! Wish I did!!!

@PurpNGold74. Ur doing good!!! U got some sizable plants there, and no doubt some good strains… Should get some good buds outta those!!! Any of those Auto’s??? Guess not??? lol I just put one plant in the green house cause it got all sunny looking, and then it instantly turned all cloudy and dark!!! lol Back to the lousy lights!!! lol
Better go grab it and put it back under the lights!!! lol Wish I knew how low I can put this stupid little light, without doing damage!!! Or have it do the most good, I should say!!! It seems kinda weak, so I keep lowerin it a bit here and a bit there… Well, this morning I was… Now I will look at them again. gotta put that one back in there anyway!!! lol
