@ktreez420
I recently started a white widow fem and a northern lights auto. I have a 4x4 tent but only one light. A vispar spectrum 600watt. Do you think i could scrog the WW with a 2x4 screen and not interfere with the auto?
I aint Treez… but sure you can… just scrog your photo girl and keep the auto off to the side…she will do fine with whatever light schedule you are running to veg your scrog.
I know you tagged @ktreez420 but id like to chime in on this if i may
You may want to trans plant that auto asap they dont like the shock i start my autos in the same pot they will finish in
Also about the scrog yes go for it youll be very happy with it my first grow was a scrog and got five oz. Dry not bad for first time grow
How tall is tent or space id run them on 18/6
Till harvest on the auto then flip 12/12 with scrog you can take your time
Just going to say same thing. Let that photo grow then scrog
The auto will be happiest with 18-20 hours
Same for the photo all the while your filling that scrog up harvest the auto flip the switch on the photo smoke some auto while waiting on the photo sound like a good time haha
7ft tall and there on 18/6 light schedule. How tall should the screen be above the planter pot? Also what steps are involved in prepping the plant for scrog? Mainly i need to know when to top her.
You got it made 7 feet
Okay so i topped at 3 weeks 4 weeks and stuffed everything under the net till it filled out 100% thats when fun starts lol net height is tricky one different strokes different folks
I did my grow at 24 inches and let her grow up into it for two months
Top her then let her recover then top her again till you are happy just keep in mind let her heal between toppings
Thanks for all the input. I’ll post updates as I go.
Oh one thing be ready for your plant to look like hell for awhile lol it stressed me out so much id remember what she looked like before i started and pray i did the right thing lol
Probably should transplant to the 5gal pots before topping. Bout a week before?
For the auto 3 gallon works great for the photo 5 gallon is about right
Truth be told i did my scrog in a two gallon and still got 5 oz dry lol i was not ready be it worked out great
Take a look at my Bubbelicious 4x4 Scrog. I am just at the end of stretch an colas are formed. It shows all those things: height, topping, filling in, under clearing, etc. it’s all my digested learning from the folks here.
I thought once your branches reached the top of the screen you strapped them down to the screen causing them to grow horizontal? It looks like in your pics you’re letting them grow to the top only. Am I thinking of something else? @Stomper
Lol sorry I couldn’t answer quick enough, but these guys have answered exactly as I would have!
Go for it! A SCROG is a ton of fun. I definitely recommend keeping lights at 18/6 for as long as you see necessary. And don’t forget, I would transplant like @Brian091180 stated, it will be better to do it now rather than later.
Based on the pic, y’all don’t think she too fragile? I’m afraid of breaking the root ball. Never transplanted this early before.
Let em dry out place seedling between fingers turn upside down may have to add some pressure to pop lose but they will come out whole you will do great and your girls will grow much faster
There are two ways I have seen. I started trying to bend and clip but I don’t have the dexterity in my hands anymore. So I did the other way and continually pushed the branches outward under the net and used the fan leaves to hold it down by shoving them under the net.
Yer mate. I translated to my dwc rock from soil no bigger than yours. Just be gentle.
