To all the SCROG users out there

What is the latest you would push setting up a scrog net. Just flipped her to 12/12 and she is already showing her legs. Would it be ok or should I let her get a week into flower before adding more stress ontop of the flower transition

I scrog mine the day after light flip. The ONLY reason I wait that long is because I have a separate veg room and can’t move them if they are already in a net

I would typically fill the screen at least 1/2 way before flipping.
Youve probably got about 5-7 days worth of tucking before I’d let them grow straight up. Any more and the buds will grow at/in the net.

Right. I use to fill the screen appropriately 60% before flipping lights. Now I have a veg room, and then move them to the flower room, so I can’t put them in a net till then.

You can thread the SCROG up to the point the plant hardens off.

My preference is to install the screen at the flip, and then to keep training down to the screen through the stretch.

Yeah; exactly. And you are doing a SCROG more the way it was intended. As opposed to the screen acting more as a ‘spreader’.

This is right at the point I’m at. Day 4 since the 12/12. Time to make the scrog

This go round i had an auto in a few weeks before I started the photo. So I did LST and Topped to have some shape while it grew out. Went 8 weeks in veg. Flipped to 12/12. Auto is about 2-3 weeks out from being done and I’m going to scrog half the tent. Let a white widow and Alaskan purple grow on the other side

I ran a SCROGged photo and an auto together awhile back:

That was my absolute best SCROG. It was a blackberry kush plant. The auto was a blueberry - both ILGM seeds.
