@Stomper What is " super cropped the main stems"
This is from your 4x4 post.
Super Cropping is when you pinch the stem until it is soft enough to bend easily. I use that to push the stems outward, bent at 90 deg. Each of those plants have runners going out more than a foot from when they hit the net.
The bent branches form a knuckle at the bend and increase in diameter and nute transfer from this technique.
On the main stems I pinch but don’t bend to get the same effect. Make sure to support them for a week or so till it heals.
So are you pinching the main stem or each individual branch?
I try to do it to every branch and the main stem.
What are your soil moisture meter things and where did ya get them?
I don’t have a soil moisture meter. I have my sensor from my Skylink Clock in there to give me a remote view of the temp in the room. I watch the leaves for watering times. When they start to droop a little it’s time to water.
Living in Colorado with avg rh of under 35% things go from wet to dry real quick.
You mentioned watering when the pot lifter says to? That’s what I was referring too. Wasn’t sure what that was
"The Pot Lift " method. That is when you get the feel of the weight of the pot when it is dry then you water and don’t water again until the weight of the pot gets as light as it was when it was dry. It’s hard to do under a Scrog tho.
Ahhh I see. Thanks
I would like to try a scrog also but on this grow (my first ) I am just trying to focus on not killing them . But next time I will have to try it.
This will be my second grow. My first I did what you’re doing. Lol
If I scrip from what I have seen on here I will only have enough room for one plant . My tent is only 36 x 36 and I over planted this time with 4 plants in tent and they are spreading out more than up . But good luck on your and grow keep us updated
@Savingpvtviper the pic in bud of the month.
Is that from your first grow. If so great job. I voted on your bud. Fantastic. Thought you must of been growing for yrs buddy.
hole in one there my grow friend
@number1fan. Yes that was my first grow. Thanks for the vote! There’s a gold leaf and northern lights behind her.
@Savingpvtviper well if I get even close to that I will just try to repeat those results and forget trying something new . Home run buddy
Imagine if you low stress trained it. So all buds were at same distance from light as the crown there. It would of been an enormous yield bro. But first grow thats just lovely. Im jealous.
And no problems at all for the vote. You earned it and i believe you deserve it.
