Hey folk’s I’m just starting up my next grow which is going to be a 3×3 Scrog with just one female plant. I am going to be doing an ICE which is a hybrid of WW×NL×Skunk No1 big time Indica. I will be using the Bio-Nova Organic nutrients and same brand soil also I will need plenty of help with this one folk’s. OK here is what I’m hoping for folk’s and what I intend to use. I have mentioned the nutrient line I went with the Bio-Nova this time because off its stand along products which will help with any deficiencies that I might run into, and off course its Organic because, I want and need the best medical treatment from it as possible that’s so important. Now let’s talk lighting I am going with full LEDs this time at the moment she is under a Mars-Hydro 300 watt in its 2nd week off veg and in a 2×2 tent for now @dbrn32@MattyBear@Aolelon, do you guys think that this is enough (power, light, energy)
for a female at this stage? Please anyone that has any advice on the height that I should be thinking of in measurements, to have my scrog at? And as for transplanting I will finish her in a 5 gallon fabric pot actually does anyone think if I should stick with the plastic smart pot’s until she is big enough for a 1 gallon fabric pot, or should I go straight to a 2 gal, she will be in fabric smart pot’s when I transplant her from the 1/2 gallon she is in right now, which ever you folk’s think is best for the plant and complete grow I don’t want to late doing what see needs thanks in advance my friends . @garrigan62 if you can find time to have a look that would be great also mate.
Just my 02 but if you are going to go to a 1 gallon next. Use a plastic pot. The plant will just slide out of it when you go to the 5 gallon. It is a pain to get these out of cloth pots. or that has been my experience. As for the lights. i will let some one else answer. I know my plant didn’t seem to grow to fast with mine. The 300 did seem to keep the plants shorter thought if you have height issues. Using my 450, they grow enough you can see a little each day. I have never tried to use a 300 all the way though. I believe others have had good luck with them though.
I only have Mars hydro lights for my grows as of right now. The 300 watt will do well for veg. I vegged an og kush and a strawberry kush under one Mars 300 for 5 weeks and they did well. Once in flower you will probably want to add another one though, for thicker more dense buds and better penatration of the canopy. I used only one in my first grow in a 2x2.5 and the buds were kind of airy but I didn’t scrog though, so you might get decent results but personally, I wouldn’t want to risk having a OK harvest vs a good harvest after all that time you spend growing it. The Mars 300s are a decent price too. Just my opinion though @Johnzy81

Awesome!!! I want to follow along my friend. I will be doing Two WW autoflower in my 2x4x6 tent. I need to get another KingLED. The 1500 watt units pull 300 from the wall and grew that male plant very well. I may hang a CF tube from the ceiling on the left and right side of the tent so I have some horizontal penetration. I think that would be a perfect addition. Thoughts? I am excited for you and your grow! Best wishes and please keep in touch, bro!
Yeah for sure I will @Poseidon mate, and yes I think that is a great idea so that way you won’t have to be turning your plant’s and that way you can make sure that every part of the plants are getting good coverage I’m with you buddy, don’t forget to tag me in buddy .
