Reservoir located in unheated area of pole barn in central NY… For ease of drain/clean/refill…
Need a aux heater in the winter…
Plus winter well water is 45F …
Need to raise it to 65-70F so not to shock girls roots… :>
No need for heater in the summer …

Does that kind of pruning give you the larger yield with better quality buds?
So, there are so many ways to successfully grow. For us we prefer to trim to produce 8 nice strong “Colas” per plant. With 4 plants, that results in 32 two foot long “Cola’s” which produces a lot of quality bud. To give you an idea on yields. We end up with more than two - 5 gallon “Buckets” of tight big, dried bud from the 4 girls. Attached a few typical results.
