So, should a person use a humidifier, or a dehumidifier?. I would not grow in the winter months. Would basically only grow in spring and summer. A lot of humidity here.
And how big of a humidifier/dehumidifier would I need for a insulated H-6’10" W-38" L-48" grow room which technically only gives me 4’ 4" of grow height?

Where’s the tent? In a room that has AC? I grow in a room that I condition (called a lung room) and control the humidity and temps. My tents are in the lung room, this clears up space inside the tent and use a 70 pint dehumidifier to keep the RH in check

I’m with @OGIncognito , I have a humidifier and dehumidifier and I’ve only used the humidifier for a few days in veg stage. Not really necessary, just helps get to that perfect growing environment. I’d say the more important purchase for me was a portable a/c unit that window vents. Even with our central air set at 70* the bedroom with grow tent was too hot taking tent temps up around 85. Now that I’m in flower I’ve had ac and dehumidifier running non stop. I’m emptying dehumidifier every 5-6 hours so I’m going to be upgrading to a bigger size eventually.

I run a separate AC unit and dehumidifier in my grow room. I have thee tents in there and it works pretty good. I’d like a better dehumidifier, but hey, I’m producing so we’re good.
