Looking to add a dehumidifier to the grow tent. I have a 4by4 tent. Currently 3 plants. Would like to leave on vacation for up to 5 days. Any recommendations on your dehumidifiers your using. I would need it to be external due to the tent being full. I’d also like it to be reused in the grow room I’m building which will be an 8by8. In a pole barn. I would run an oil heater in the winter to keep warm. Going 8by 8 so I have room to have equipment inside the grow room. Even considering an ac unit. Thoughts an ideas? Tag some people who has a similar setting and hope they give some input.

Get the biggest dehumidifier you can afford. None of them really stand up to their claims. I have 3 and when it matters most they all run 24/7. I believe each is rated for 50-55 pints. Or 4,000-4,500 square feet each. Midwest, basement, 7x14 grow room.
A mini split would be good if you need to heat at cool

I bough this one last year and it works just fine. My grow room is a converted guest bedroom (much bigger than 8x8’). It will bring the humidity down in the room by several points. It does exhaust some heat into the room though. I’m surprised how much the price on this has gone up since I bought it last summer. I bought the 80 pint - the image shows the 34 pint.
