Hey there,
My plants are sitting in a 36x36x72 inch tent. The plants are 20 inches tall from the bottom of their pots(about a foot tall coming out of soil.)
And so my main question is: When should I flip to flower? I want them to get as big as possible, but I don’t want to run out of space before. I can only allow the plants to grow up to 45 inch in total from the bottom of the pot( for the lights sake) Have never seen a flower stretch as this is my first grow, and would like to know what to expect. Should I let the plants get a little bigger? A lot bigger? Should I flip right now? Any input appreciated.

You might consider switching in the next few days,I’ve learned that they will get a good bit taller in flower stage

What strain(s)?
Age?
It looks like you have done some training…

Nice healthy looking plants ! Just consider they’re going to double in size after the flip. From what I see you’re going to have a nice full tent of buds. It’s all about managing the space.

Yeah I’d be flipping soon. It’s not the height where you’re going to run out of room but the whole rest of the tent.

They’re Bruce banner (mostly Sativa hybrid) plants at around day 50 or 60 of veg.
Yeah I’ve been doing a bunch of training. Seeing an even flower spread is super satisfying to me.
I grew Bruce on my last go round in a 363696 tent with a 2000 watt Mars hydro light. I flipped them when they were 30" tall from bottom of the pot and was having light burn issues 3 weeks from harvest and had to switch out for a less powerful platinum 300 watt. My suggestion would be to flip them now. Want as big as you can get but you also don’t want to lose it at the end. Better safe than sorry in my opinion.
