How much do i water seedlings

Okay this is my first grow. I made the mistake of using 1/4 gallon fabric pots. It seems like the soil dries out very quickly. The other three that germinated I put them in Solo cups with domes but they have not come through the dirt yet. Those were started a little later. How often should I be watering these things. I don’t want to kill them by over or underwatering. I’m using a spray bottle and missing them very lightly. I have a humidifier in my tent that keeps the RH between 68 and 75. Any advice would be appreciated and thank you in advance

Seedlings only need a couple ml of water per day. It’s very hard to kill a seedling by underwatering. It is very easy to kill them with overwatering. It’s a very common mistake.

Let the soil dry till the pot is light as a cork. I go 30 ml for seedlings, then in 3 days if soil is dry I increase to 60ml. If soil isnt dry in 3 days I wait till it is (usually another day) then watet 30 ml again. Once the leaves reach the side of the pot its full waterings until runoff. Make sense?

Seedlings get all of their moisture out of the air, until a taproot develops. Spraying the clear dome with distilled water is enough for the seedling.
