As a rule of thumb: never water more than the plant is capable of drying the soil out within a few days. A plant that size can use a few ounces of water at a time.

Really depends on the frequency that you’re watering, environmental conditions, and makeup of your soil. These plants are small and won’t have much of a root system developed to take a bunch of water, and you don’t want the roots they do have to be completely flooded for long durations.

If you’re waiting until soil dries out some probably ounce or two in the small containers and maybe a little more for plants in larger containers. Just make sure to apply slowly in a ring around the plant instead of right at the base. If this dries out too quickly then you can gradually increase the amount of water.

Let what you have on there currently dry up before you go at it again. Looks good!!

I use the “dome watering” technique for seedlings.

Seedlings need very little water.
Watering further out encourages roots to seek.
However,

I prefer up-planting, usually.
