I germinated and then planted a blueberry auto and it didn’t make it after more than a week
then planted a White Widow auto in the same pot a week later.
the WW sprouted and went on to grow three sets of leaves after a while and then I saw this little seedling about 4 inches away. very skinny stem and now on the second set of tiny leaves.
I transplanted her to her own pot and she is growing really slowly but I don’t know if its a BB or a
WW??? and what are all those dots on the leaves?
Those are either trichomes and you’ve got a super plant (and I want a cutting!) or you’ve got something that I’ve never seen?
…well, I’ve never seen it either way, but…?! I think we need to call in some other folks on this one ?! @garrigan62 @Donaldj
I downloaded it and blew the picture up and my feeling is that those are trichomes but I don’t see how it’s possible ?
@robk seedlings grow roots below the ground before they start to grow up so be patient!
Looking forward to finding out what that is, hope it’s not a bad thing, good luck!
Very good photo
There was another post on here where someone got a double seedling so either way it’s possible. I don’t think the second seedling eventually lived though. Cool photo…interested to see what people come up with.
I haven’t a clue almost looks like a radish sprout to me
well thanks for the help guys, im really new to this. couldn’t be a radish, I used a fresh bag of soil and only mj seeds. this pot is going to be marked majic since the first plant had three sets of leaves, posting pic with this reply and the second plant magically popped up. by the way, the first plant with three leaves now is like 3 inch tall and looks thick and wild.
will take current pics tomorrow, then I wil LST Tie it. since its an auto I read a lot on this technic and it seems like a win win. but will be really cautious since it is my fist attempt.
I don’t think its weed, unless you planted it, its some type of Dicotyledon with heart shaped leaves, try to get a picture from directly above and looking straight down. Looks like Dragon head , Red Valerian or even Sunflower and those aren’t Trichromes. What type of soil is it , or where did you get the soil. Interesting though, let it grow !!
bought potting soil from Lowes, indoor planting its winter here, now.
No other seeds came in contact with the soil.
Interesting, I’ve seen opium plants sprout from potting soil and mulch, Let it grow, if you didn’t place a seed there its just something else growing in the soil.
I guess it could have been in the soil when purchased, never had that happen before with many years of backyard vegetable gardening.
It was just a thought since red stems aren’t usually so prominent and trich’s aren’t present on sprouts as well the leaf shape and color reminds me of radish which has fairly similar looking seeds as MJ. I am not trying to stir pot any just don’t know for sure where your purchased your seeds? I could and most certainly may be mistaken
Edit the leaf shape is out for radish sprout would be more heart shaped so could very much be mistaken
got my seeds from ILGM blueberry autoflower and White Widdow autoflower.
could have been something in the potting soil, nothing I planted intentionally. just turned out to be a cool looking seedling, don’t have a clue what it is.
@robk now that is a cool lookin’ seedling there!
Edit: I added this edit because I downloaded this puc and have been looking at it and that can’t be ganja, like Donald said that’s some kind of a sprout, sorry @robk
… magic we posted at the same time, this is an odd one ! I saw a no leaf serration, and I don’t see how those could be trichomes so I’m going with Sprout but I hope he lets it keep growing and shows us a another picture in a few days
My opinion if it has any thing going on its a minor mutation that was in the embryo of the seed, do not rule it out that’s its not a sprouting from your seeds until it gets bigger second picture is tri-leaflets a common mutation often seen
definitly let it grow. you never know, it could turn out to be a new strain or just some really freaky weed
it took over 2 weeks to grow to this point. I have seen postings of re-veg plants that have smooth leaves but this just came up on its own in the same pot as a WhiteWidow Auto Flower. im thinking my 5 year old might have something to do with sticking something in the soil. but like I said I did vegetable gardening for years and never saw a plant like this before. the part that confuses me is that the leaves are all growing perpendicular just like weed seedlings I am leaving it under the lights with the WW and letting it grow, I will even hit it with some plant food soon to help it out. it is growing sooooo slow.
Dont feed it let it go and watch it , if it comes out to be a cannabis plant thatd be a first I seen like it
I like the fun threads like this one …keep us posted…!
Are you watering heavy or did you take those pictures right after you watered? … just curious cuz you mention slow growth and over-watering can slow plants down ?
Good point @Paranorman
