from a fellow grower: With these Hindu Kush seeds, only half germinated, and the other half grew to about 4 to 5 inches and then died. I thought this looked like damping off, so I did a super cleaning of the grow room and got more seeds. Also, I have never had plants die from damping off, so not completely sure.
The second set of seeds all germinated using the paper towel method, but only a few popped to the surface, and all died.
How often are you spritzing them medium should start at half saturation and then given 3 spritzes twice a day for the 1st week , maybe you should start in coco/ cork starter cubes they’re also gentler on seeds/ clones from what I’ve seen
Sounds like they were to wet it might’ve drowned them, clones are different they absorb all their water through their leaves so humidity is more important
I’m not really familiar with germinating in rockwool, but I’m guessing watering issue too. Once seeds germinate its typically some sort of issue with care that would cause them to die off. I would look into how the mechanical properties of the rockwool require water with seedlings. I think the wet to dry cycle can be a little more tricky than other types of media. Once you get it dialed in suppose to be pretty good.
