Here is my Cream+Cheese CBD 1:1. One or 2 buds still have plenty of fat white pistils but I’m seeing bud amber so I’m having to call it, since it’s my understanding that high CBD bud should not be harvested on the late side. This bud has lots of white pistils, but the bud pic, from the same bud, has amber trichomes. This strain lists 22%THC, 18% CBD. So I ice water flushed it, let it dry out for 3 days and plan to chop tomorrow.
Mighty early to chop her. Sure has lots of hairy whites. Happy Harvest
I know but the bud trichomes are turning. That’s the bud with the most white pistils. The rest are 70-80% orange. Thanks for the wishes I’ve enjoyed your input @beachglass
Happy smoking @6stringT, Whatever you decide. I see amber in the trichomes, but pistols look pretty fresh and new. I was supposed to get some high CBD high THC strains this year bit it didn’t work out. Let us know the effects of the smoke
Hey @VF , broke off a lower lark bud last week. Dried it and just smoked a bowl. Surprisingly not too harsh with a good buzz.
Would you say it was pain relieving or just a good stoney buzz? I get Wanna brand gummies for my mom from time to time, cause she won’t smoke. Got some high THC, high CBD gummies, tried em and couldn’t tell the difference between them and the reg sativa gummies.
Looks pretty early to me, but sounds like you’ve already decided. Good luck.
Yep. CBD degrades quickly so it is best to harvest early if you want the CBD content at its highest.
When you have about 90% milky and 10% clear trichs then you should have peak CBD.
It is different than peak THC and goes against all we have learned with those plants.
Good to know for my cream and cheese also. Thanks man.
I made some canna-caps and tincture from what I grew last year and have found it to be very helpful pain relief for my back pain (Ankylosing spondylitis) and also my brother in law’s chronic pain. Good anti-inflaitory. I get a little buzz from it but my sister got zoned out with it.
Just did the chop on both plants. I’m guessing @12-15oz. That’s a lot of pain relief. Thanks for asking. Now, gotta go back to trim jail!
Its great to have an option that doesn’t involve big Pharma. And at least its only jail and not prison. Things keep on pace I’m gonna need to get some help for mine.
