Blueberry CBD foxtailing and purpling
I grow high CBD strains along with high THC. I’ve been harvesting the CBD strains at the first amber on buds. I have been weary of taking it at 30% amber like the high THC strains. I use the CBD strains in edibles during the day for severe back pain. The high THC is for sleeping and I use a small amount of THC edibles mixed with the CBD to make the day better. I’ve been looking for the perfect CBD and AC/DC is the best so far.
I’m about to harvest AC/DC at all milky and no amber to see if it changes anything potently.
If anyone else grows these CBD strains, I would like to know your experience. Most of what I grow has both THC and CBD. I used to be around here all the time…then I went to Bergmans lab, but it’s gone now and I grow really good high THC stuff but I would like to learn how to do the same with high CBD.

I don’t know about these strains in particular, but just continue checking trichome color, and should be the same window of harvest for cbd.

It actually has an earlier harvest window if you want max CBD.
Here is a great video about when to harvest.
I harvest at 90% cloudy 10% clear.
If you see amber then the CBD is degrading and you are late.
Its different than a THC plant.

I didn’t know till I stumbled upon this video. The fact he sends the samples out each week for testing makes the video a valuable tool. And he lets the plant go long enough to show the decline in CBD was not just a fluke, but it continues as the plant matures. I think you have to sign in to view it as its age restricted.

I’m late on the Blueberry @Spiney_norman …10% amber. I’m on time with AC/DC. About 90% milky. Thanks for the info. I’m trimming and cutting both in the next 2 days. I looked on YouTube for particular videos about CBD harvesting but didn’t find much.

I grow Harlequin. Love it alone or mixed with other strains to add some CBD.
Have 2 in the tent right now I cloned from the first one I grew. It was so good we revegged it and saved it.

Ran out of harlequin seeds last year and couldn’t get any so I switched to AC/DC. I liked harlequin and I’ll get them next time I order seeds…if they have them

I have seen my wife fall asleep with the vape pen in her mouth…It really helps relax her.
Until we tried weed she couldn’t sleep at all. I was getting worried about her mental condition from lack of sleep until we started cannabis. I may try other CBD strains at some point. I would like to try Night Nurse which is supposed to be a real sleep inducer.

Probably a year before I order anything. I have 3 new strains to grow first @rubyyarn…Stephan Hawking Kush, Harle-Tsu, and Moby Dick CBD. Thanks for the info though. I’m trying to find THE strain.

Im growing Cream+Cheese CBD 1:1 (22%THC, 18% CBD) and Harlequin Kimbo Kush CBD 1:2 (6% THC, 12%CBD.
Grew the C+C last year and was impressed even with my grow mistakes, it tested 18% THC, 13%CBD. Works wonderfully well in canna-caps and tincture for several people including me.
