So I have one little guy just pop this morning but none of the rest have. I placed the seeds in soil on Saturday late night. All my seeds but 2 had tap roots when I placed in the soil. Small tap root just peaking out about how much longer should I wait before I start to worry.
Thanks I got a room humidifier today placed it in room rh came up to 60% and is rising temperature is 77 one bean has sprouted still waiting on the other 4 to show themselves. Soaked for 36 hours till tap root just showed then placed in soil late saturday and the rest sunday morning. How long till I start worrying and germ new seeds need more than just 1.
You put them in soil with the tap root sticking out above soil?
@dbrn32 No I put them in about a knuckle deep in the soil then gently covered them
@dbrn32 tap root facing down. The tap root was very tiny maybe I should have left the tap roots get longer by placing them in a towel. I hope they are alright. I have others ready to be germinating if I need too. I think maybe my soil was to dry when I planted them. I never really soaked the pots before I popped them in just a light watering.
I see. You put them pretty deep, I would imagine it would take a while if they do make it.
@dbrn32 2 more spouted over night super stoked now I have three little girls to take care of. Might pop another just so I can fill up the tent. So stoked right now.

Well I have 3 little girls now. They are under 5000k CFL lamps. I am waiting on my light to arrive there is a little bit of a wait for them. How long can I keep these under the cfl. The light should be here mid week next week. I just misted around the plants the one looked really dry. Also dropped another bean in water tonight hopefully she will sprout overnight so I can get her in a pot and get her going.
I just dropped 2 of them northern lights from seedsman
I am pretty sure 2 of the seeds that sprouted were the northern lights one blue diesel. I put a stiches love potion in water tonight.
These plants are just under 2 weeks old I think they may have a little heat stress. I moved the lights up about 8 inches above what they were previously. I held off putting my big light in the tent but I am planning on it tomorrow I have the hlg 600 rspec. Could you recommend a height off my plants and a percentage for dimming.
Like 24-30" at half power should be good starting point. If your driver ends in “a”, half power is turned just about all the way down
@dbrn32 this is my set up just hung my light. Put it 30" and turned to what I believe is half. My driver is the 54b with 100k petionometer turned to half way it clicks at half kinda nice. I have not fed any nutes yet think next watering I may try some.

I didn’t see anything wrong with them. If you feed I would do it at reduced strength.
Thanks I will try and feed them at 1 /3 strength and see how they take to it.

So I fed the girls for the first time tonight. General hydroponics flora micro1.25ml flora gro 2ml cal magic 1.25ml per gallon ph’d at 6.8. It is day 20 for them hope I didn’t wait to long what do you guys think on size and health. I am new to this. I think they look pretty good just not sure on size since they are autos no and a blue diesel. Both supposed to finish in 60 days feels like they got a lot of growing to do

Seems like most go quite a bit longer than 60 days, so keep that target open. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if it was more like 90-100 days.

I was wondering about that time frame. I am in no real hurry just nice to know that they may take a bit longer. As long as they keep progressing the way they are I will be fine with it. How soon till I could start with some lst.

@dbrn32 @Jbum @growmeister @imSICKkid. So I did a little lst today also just misted the top soil cause they were looking a little dry. I have watered once since feeding I am not really seeing any major jump in growth so I am thinking about feeding again tomorrow but I thought I would ask the pro’s for their opinion. I think they are looking pretty good. I am a little worried I waited to long to use lst on them but I gave it a shot. Should I try to separate and do more lst or let them recover and do more in a few days don’t want to over do it. Feed next watering or straight ro water I fed pretty light for the first one.
