Let’s see how they turn out. Both should be done in around 60 days and are about the same height so keeping canopy equal should be easier. And both are supposed to yeild around 400grams per sq meter. Lets see.
@Jbum I am making ro water right now 5 gallon bucket will this be enough to water my 4 five gallon pots to start my girls they are soaking since last night 8pm work till midnight tonight so I thought I would get ready to prep soil. I filled pots did not compact soil to much just pushed down at the top. Took almost one big bag of happy frog to fill 4 pots. Picking up two more cla.p lights and bulbs this afternoon and grabbing a trash can for water storage also needed something in a pinch this morning so the 5 gallon will have to do.
Has anyone ordered lights from growers light depot they have the best price but I can not reach them by phone.

Thanks it looks like it is hard to get ahold of the 3000k version right now so I will have to go with the respec boards. Is anyone using them right now that can tell me how they are compared to the 3000.
So I planted my seedlings last night and this morning. I didn’t take pics😫 I put plastic soda bottles with some vent holes cut in at top but now I am wondering if I should have left them off. They are clear bottles so i dont think the light not getting to them will really matter. Should I remove them when I get home from work today or leave them on. Also I had 2 seeds that didn’t look like they had a tail. The seeds soaked from thursday 8pm until last night Saturday 9pm a little over 48 hours 3 of the 5 beans had tap roots showing so I planted those right away. The other 2 I let sit overnight. This morning when I woke and checked the beans both seeds looked about the same as last night. After closer examination looks like the shell was open on at least one maybe both so I threw them in the pots and walked out the door. Did I rush these last 2 beans or do you think they will be ok. Room is at 44% humidity and 76 degrees.

With your room RH being low for seedlings I would suggest to keep the domes on them.

Well…if the one seed cracked then it sounds like it’s doing something. The one that hasn’t cracked can probably be chalked up as a loss. Or just change the water out and let it soak longer. Time will tell
Thanks for the quick response I was thinking about getting a humidifier for the room. I am surprised because the basement is usually pretty damp but since it is in a tent that probably keeps Rh down. Any suggestions on a way to keep my tent a little more humid?
@imSICKkid I put both seeds in pots this morning. I will wait for a little before I try to pop another bean. Just want to try for minimum of 4 plants and a max of 5 really want 5
Adding a humidifier to the room your tent is in will help your situation. Not in the tent though
@imSICKkid can you explain a little more why not in tent but in the room.

Well the air in your tent is being exchanged in your tent via outake fan correct? Do you also run an intake fan or do you have passive air coming in? Regardless…to make a more constant/steady level of humidity it is easier to control a bigger space then a smaller one. I fell like you would have much better results adding one to your lung room.

You could also add a pot of water with the light beaming on it. That should raise the humidity but also leave the domes on.
Excellent explanation thank you I will do a little investigation into humidifiers. My tent is in an old bathroom the door is a slatted door so I will have to seal that up at least partially. I am just using an exhaust fan for exhaust and passive for intake. For right now I will put a bucket inside tent until I have time to work on tent again. Should be on tuesday hopefully everything will hold up until then. Still able to check on them just no real work on tent while kids are around.

Leave a towel on the edge of the bucket. Basically like a wick to draw water up and out. That should help a bit more
