I think I cubic foot translate into about 7 US gallons. Not sure about fill with compaction and stuff like that.
Probably around 3 pots if you add a good bit of perlite. Not quite 3 if you run straight coco
4 cubic feet fills about 30 gallons for me. Gong by my trash cans I keep perlite in. @kcj, Thanks, I started out with CFLs. Then found I could get a LED cheaper and would cover more area easier 
Then I met @dbrn32, who made me up grade from the cheaper LEDs to QBs
I think I have 16 of the 42w 2700k lights and 8 of the 42w 5500K and a ton of 23w. I don’t mind as I use them for veg now and then and can also use them around the house.
Power must be cheap out there
