Hope all is welll.
Im in week 10 with Bruce Banner.
She’s well into flowering.
Can anyone tell me when to start flushing.
The pistils havent changed in colors yey
It appears to be week 10 from seed, which isn’t relevant. The metric that matters is how many weeks from the start of flowering. It looks like you are in week 3 or 4 of flowering, which means that you have 5 to 6 weeks to go yet to harvest. Your flowers will bulk up a lot during those weeks and you’ll have a good harvest.
Flushing is up to you. Wait at least until nearly all the pistils have turned brown.
If wont wash nutrients from the soil as they are bonded to the soil and inside the plant. But it will save the nutrients for next grow as they are not needed during the last week or so. It has no effect on the final product. Some opinions differ so do your own tests and see what you think.
Yep. Shes 4 1/2 weeks into flowering. Im keeping a daily log of temp and humidity.
So should I start flushing in 3weeks ?
Or should I wait until the pistils start changing.
Harvest day is when the buds are mature and that can happen at any week and usually well beyond the estimate the breeder gave. Some take 8 weeks in flower and some take 12. Don’t get stuck on a particular week. Watch the progress and look for BOTH of these two conditions,
nearly all pistils browned and when you have met this then, and only then look for,
cloudy trichomes with some starting to amber. The amber is a personal choice, but all cloudy is when thc peaks.
Looks like a solid grow. Im on my first one in 13 years and trying out some autos. I can taste the difference in bud when a flush is done but some people dont. I dont see it as a make or break. Not like youre going to throw it out because the flavor is a little off.
Welcome @SlipperyShrimp69 glad to have you aboard and see you growing again. This place has an abundance of knowlege, excellent people, and an enthusiastic community willing to help if you need it. Look forward to seeing your grow and insights you may have. @PDave420 still see a few white pistils but no doubt you’re getting closer by the day. Once those red hairs start to recede back into the bud its time to start checking trichomes. Patience is the hardest part from here. Looking marvelous i might add. Great job!!!
When was the first sign of flowering? 5-6 weeks im guessing from sprout. Flowering week times are the only weeks that are counted. When they claim it takes 8-10 weeks, they are referring to this period only not counting seedling and veg time along with their calculation. @PDave420
@PhatPat well amost 9 weeks
Hows she looking.
Still have alot white pistels sproutiing out.
Not using anything to spread the branches now. The bud’s are doing that lol
