First timer and need some help. I have FFHF soil, extreme mycos, Gaia green 444 & 284, bloom city cal-mag & silica boost, humidity/temp meter, ph pen and SF 1000 with dimmer. My question is should I use HF plain for germ/seedling or should I mix nutrients first ? This is my first time on a forum and hope I did this right. I truly appreciate any help and plan on passing it down myself one day.
Don’t add nutrients to Happy Frog until ~4 weeks from your last transplant. Monitor runoff PPM and begin feeding when PPM is < ~1,000.
Welcome to the forum.
Happy Frog has nutrients in it, so no need to feed for awhile. I grow in coco, so I don’t have the exact time the nutes last. I use Mykos when I drop the germinated seed into a coco filled solo cup and again when I tranplant the solo cup to a 3 gallon fabric pot. Follow the recommended dosage on the nutes you have, I am not at all familiar with those lol.
Thanks for the info. I’ll just start with happy frog for my first auto.
I always start my seeds in HF. Never a problem.
The only other suggestion I have is that your light is sufficient to veg 1 plant, but you’ll get far better results with Spider Farmer’s 200-250 watt models when flowering the plant. Lighting is by far the most important factor for a productive grow.
