Grow tent help ………

This last grow was my first indoor attempt, this setup is the only grow light ive ever owned so i dont really have much to compare anything to. But as far as how, @dbrn32 said it best lol.

I asked 280000 questions and everyone held my hand all the way to the finish line . But, with that i learned all sorts of stuff and this grow ive been able to navigate through with about 1/2 as many questions haha.

It was a good time :joy:. I cant remember exactly how many hours me and my wife spent trimming that one plant! It was more than 15 total over a few days.

Do you have a link to your NL? I love bud porn. That round was mainlined to 16 leaders which necessitated a 10 week veg in coco/perlite mix with high frequency fertigation. I used GH nutes and additives according to coco for cannabis with some personal tweaks I’ve made. It took 2 years of trial and error to get that system dialed in. I also believe there was some luck involved because that plant in particular outgrew all the others. That is why it was in the corner. It got too big to go under the same lights. At the time of harvest it was 43" from the soil to top and 31"x36" at its fattest point. the next largest was a granddaddy purp that yielded 8.5 OZ which is more what I’ve come to expect on average. I’m hoping with a little extra guidance I can crack that elusive 1LB goal.

That’s a pretty big tent, I like the color scheme. :call_me_hand:t3: Going to take a bigger light. Do you have a yield goal in mind?

Ive taken your advise and I’m going to buy the led light you suggested plus fan because I didn’t get one with it for some reason but my mate might have it . I honestly didn’t have an expected yield in mind but definitely at least a few ounces would be good . I’ve got Bruce banner seeds . How many ounces do you think I’d get in that Tent ? Cheers

Check the ILGM site and they have an estimated yield for the seeds. With the light @Low suggested, decent nutes and staying on top of your environment, you should be close to the middle or 3/4’s of their estimates. More or less depending on how you stay on top of it.

Decent set up, cool friend to have! :slightly_smiling_face:

BTW, if you haven’t yet, use the search function for “lung room” or “grow room” or a variety of combinations about humidity. Your tent is like a micro climate, the lung room the tent is in is how you will regulate the tent.

Right. In most cases your original statement is pretty accurate. I wouldn’t expect everyone to yield a unit plus regularly with 300 watt light. But there’s always exceptions.

Hey is a humidifier essential? Or heater I’ve ever heard of a heater in a tent cheers

Depends on your climate, and the season you want to grow in.

I’m in the deep south… deeep south. I still need a heater and humidifier Jan Feb. Once outside lows go above 60f I need the a/c and dehumidifier.

We do all kinds of thing to keep our girls in the sweet spot. My light is on at night to mitigate daytime high temps.

@Brett_420.fatbuds I am in a basement in the north… I must provide the proper environment for the plants.

I use vpd charts to set my heat and humidity and dli charts to set my light intensity… And the light manufacturers recommended height above canopy to set my lights distance from the plants.

Once my basement doesn’t get below about 60F consistently… I shut off the heaters…

Everyones setup will be different depending on environment. Ive slowly learned that less is more lol.

Onece i did away with my humidifiers ive had alot less vpd issues. Luckily my house stays around 50%.
